Un site archéologique remarquable qui ouvre une fenêtre sur l’histoire romaine antique de Budapest. Situé à proximité des ruines du camp militaire d'Aquincum, cet ancien amphithéâtre servait autrefois de centre de divertissement et de rassemblements sociaux sous l'Empire romain. Construit au IIe siècle après JC, il pouvait accueillir des milliers de spectateurs venus assister à des concours de gladiateurs, des représentations théâtrales et d'autres spectacles publics.
L'une des voies navigables les plus emblématiques et historiquement importantes d'Europe, qui serpente à travers dix pays, depuis sa source dans la Forêt-Noire en Allemagne jusqu'à son delta dans la mer Noire. Lorsqu'il traverse Budapest, la capitale de la Hongrie, le Danube constitue un élément central, divisant la ville en deux moitiés distinctes : Buda et Pest. We had the pleasure of spending some hours in the company of Zoltan in the center of Budapest. Along the way, we tasted several exciting dishes and saw places you don't usually encounter. The tour was amazing- a true highlight of our trip and far exceeded our expectations! The food, the locations…were all spectacular..and loved ending up at a local Christmas market which made it even more special. We tasted food we wouldn’t have ordered otherwise- all delicious!

One of the best food tours we have ever been on. Our guide Zoltan was very knowledgeable about Budapest and made the day very enjoyable. We were able to taste a variety of local dishes. We especially love the langos and gulyas soup! Our last stop we tasted all different forms of paprika along with local palinka (fruit spirit). Would highly recommend this tour with Zoltan.

We had an amazing time with Kitty on the Obuda food tour! It is unlikely I would have explored this area on my own, as it is outside the more popular Buda and Pest areas. All the food and drinks we had were incredibly delicious. Kitty made it feel like we were sharing a meal with friends. I’d highly recommend this tour in addition to your explorations of Buda and Pest.

The Secret Food Tour of Obuda was amazing! Our extremely knowledgeable guide Zoltan was fantastic. He grew up in the Obdua area and knew the best places to try authentic Hungarian dishes. A unique experience to get a taste of how real Hungarians eat. Zoltan was a tremendous guide sharing his personal stories and how Budapest has changed over the decades.
