This food tour in Tashkent was a fantastic experience and one of the highlights of our trip. Tatiana created a very warm and personal atmosphere, and the private setting made it feel much more special than a typical walking tour. We tried a wide variety of dishes, many of which were quite different from how similar foods are prepared in Latvia, but everything was absolutely delicious. I especially appreciated the balance between visiting a traditional local market and also dining in a more restaurant-style setting. Walking through the market was a highlight in itself. We got to see how locals shop, interact, and live their daily lives, while also tasting fresh bread and other regional specialties. It felt like a genuine cultural immersion rather than just a tour. Overall, I would highly recommend this experience. It offers much more than a standard walking tour - combining storytelling, food, and local insight in a way that really helps you understand the culture.
It was my great pleasure to host you and your Mom in Tashkent.
Great afternoon with Tatiana walking through the markets and ancient streets, trying out local foods and learning the customs and cooking methods behind them. Tatiana was able to customize the tour based on my interests, making the tour very interesting. We even visited a local living room and chat with the residents! Great experience with Tatiana!
If you’re looking for a deep dive into the heart of Uzbek culture and cuisine, look no further than this food tour with Tatyana. Tatyana is a fantastic guide—bursting with energy and possessing a vast, impressive knowledge of both Tashkent and Uzbekistan’s history. It’s clear she is incredibly proud of her country, and she truly cared about ensuring we had a marvelous experience from start to finish. The itinerary was perfectly curated: A Bazaar: A sensory explosion where we sampled local flavors. Local Tea House: A beautiful, authentic moment to slow down. The Plov Center: You cannot visit Tashkent without seeing this; the scale and flavor are unmatched. Hotel Uzbekistan: We ended the day with a drink here, which was the perfect way to cap off the afternoon. A word of advice: Skip breakfast. Seriously. There is so much incredible food throughout the day that you’ll want every bit of appetite you can muster! Beyond the delicious dishes, what made the tour special was the back-and-forth conversation. Tatyana is engaging and easy to talk to, making the day feel like exploring the city with a well-informed friend. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to eat well and learn even more about this beautiful country.

Tatiana is an excellent guide. Full of knowledge of the history of the country, not just food. Had a very nice walking tour of the new city along with copious amounts of local interesting food. Highly recommend!

The best food tour I have tried, Tatiana is a great host. Well organized tour, well picked food that actually shows how people live. Shes also very thoughtful and attentive, took good care of guests. We didnt get to finish the last restaurant in the morning because of time, and she spared more time at dinner so I could try everything.

It was my pleasure to host you in Tashkent!
We had a wonderful day with Tatyana. She suggested splitting the day into two parts: lunch and dinner. At lunchtime, she took us to the market and then to a local restaurant where we tried traditional dishes. In the evening, we enjoyed a great dinner at a traditional restaurant with live music and a folklore show. It was a truly memorable experience, full of information, and it helped us understand more about the culture and history of Uzbekistan.

Great food (and history!) tour! Tripadvisor review: Ten Bites Adventure Food Tour in Tashkent Tatiana was a great guide! I ate and drank so much new and interesting food, that by the end I literally could not eat anymore. This was also a very interesting tour for the history of areas we went through in Tashkent. She clearly knows the city, its food, and its history very well!
