Lors de notre première étape à Berlin, nous nous laisserons tenter par un délice culinaire classique : l'escalope de porc ou de veau panée, parfaitement frite et croustillante, servie avec une bière allemande rafraîchissante. L'extérieur croquant de l'escalope et son intérieur juteux, associés aux notes riches et houblonnées d'une bière brassée localement, créent un mélange harmonieux de saveurs qui capturent véritablement l'essence de la culture culinaire dynamique de Berlin. Notre deuxième arrêt nous emmène au cœur de la scène culinaire de rue berlinoise : le meilleur döner kebab de la ville. Ce chef-d'œuvre culinaire, une fusion savoureuse d'influences turques et allemandes, se compose de succulentes tranches de viande épicée, de laitue croquante, de tomates juteuses et d'une sauce au yaourt acidulée, le tout enveloppé dans du pain pita chaud et moelleux. Cachée dans un bar caché, souvent appréciée en shot ou mélangée à des cocktails, cette boisson verte vibrante offre une explosion de saveurs mentholées à la fois revigorantes et uniques. En sirotant du Berliner Luft dans ce lieu secret, nous trinquerons à la vie animée de la ville et à ses riches traditions culinaires, rendant notre voyage à travers Berlin encore plus mémorable.
Notre voyage se poursuit avec la visite d'un en-cas typiquement berlinois : la currywurst. Nous nous arrêterons dans un stand de rue populaire réputé pour servir le meilleur de la ville. An incredible food tour in Berlin that truly made me feel the city’s culture through its food, stories, and atmosphere. Finding the meeting point was very easy, and everything was well organized from start to finish. Our guide Gabriel was excellent throughout the whole experience, not only taking us from place to place but also sharing fascinating stories behind every dish and location, which made everything much more meaningful. We started with a classic German schnitzel and a traditional Berlin beer, a perfect introduction to the tour. Then we tried a Döner kebab at a hidden gem in Berlin, which was delicious, followed by a shot of Berliner Luft, a very local and refreshing drink. We continued to another hidden gem spot that we really enjoyed, then tried Currywurst, a true Berlin classic, with a local drink, and finally ended with Berliner Donner. Everything was amazing, smooth, and well organized, and I left feeling like we had truly experienced Berlin from the inside. Highly recommended.

Gabriel was a great tour guide! My 17-yr old son has been talking about the kabobs ever since the tour! The whole family had a real nice time, and enjoyed learning about the different food and drinks he taught us about.

Amazing tour with a great guide! We got to try authentic original Berlin foods including a delicious sweet Berliner, the original kebab, currywurst, and many other local specialties. Unfortunately, the meeting place was only coordinates and not well defined such as meet at the statue in the park. The itinerary was different then what Viator listed. Our guide Mateo was personable but poorly trained and had limited knowledge about the history of the area and food. That’s the company’s responsibility for training not the tour guide’s fault.
We respectfully disagree with this review because several statements are inaccurate. First, the meeting point was not “only coordinates.” The booking includes the full address together with the Google Maps location provided directly through Viator. We have operated tours with the exact same meeting point instructions for thousands of guests without issues. In this case, the guest mistakenly went to one of the restaurants included later in the itinerary instead of the official meeting point. Despite this confusion not being caused by our company, we still waited approximately 40 minutes for the guests and reorganized restaurant reservations in order to accommodate them and continue the experience. Second, regarding the guide, Mateo is not poorly trained. He is an experienced guide who also conducts Berlin history tours regularly. The guests asked several highly specific questions related to the technical construction of Berlin’s metro and tram systems, which goes far beyond the normal scope of a food and cultural tour. Nevertheless, the guide conducted the tour professionally, covering the neighborhood history, cultural context, and food experience included in the itinerary. Regarding the itinerary itself, we followed the tour route and food experience as advertised, and we can provide restaurant receipts and booking confirmations if necessary. We always take feedback seriously, but in this case we believe the review does not accurately reflect the experience that was delivered.

Bring an empty belly, as this is much more filling than other tours we have tried in other cities! Good mix of local dishes and beverages, with an engaging guide. Gabriel was excellent, checking at each stop for dietary restrictions and taking care of everything from seating to ordering.
