Visite fantôme d'Asheville : une promenade dans le cimetière de Riverside et le quartier de Montford

Description

We had a great time with Leah. She was so knowledgeable of Asheville and the history, and we walked away with some great lore! She had a great sense of humor so we laughed quite a bit. Such a beautiful setting to walk through.
This was a great experience. Our guide was excellent full of wonderful stories and we would highly recommend it.
I loved learning the local ghost lore and seeing a new side to Asheville! As an Asheville resident, I heard stories I've never heard before!
I’m so glad you enjoyed!
My fiancé and I were on vacation in Asheville and decided to join the ghost tour — and wow, it was the perfect balance of spooky and super fun! Jordan was our guide, and she made the whole experience absolutely exceptional. It was the highlight of our trip! We loved every minute of it and can’t wait to do another one. Highly recommend! 👻✨
I’m so glad to hear that you enjoyed our tour! Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you!
What a night out in the cool autumn weather! The guide did a wonderful job keeping our attention with chilly stories of the ghostly departed. The beautiful cemetery is right in Montfort, just a couple blocks from all downtown has to offer. It was so fun, would definitely recommend!

The group was our family of six. We had a nice time hearing the stories of the dearly departed. When the tour came back to the entrance of cemetery we found we were locked in the cemetery, along with our guide. We had seen a service truck drive thru the cemetery but apparently he didn’t see the seven of us. We climbed over the cemetery gates, including the guide (2 19y/o, 2 21y/o, 3 adults over 50y/o). The guide did offer to contact the owner who would have to contact the city to let us out. I’m glad we were able to climb over the gate. The tour was fun but the evening was damped when one of my kids was convinced she was going to have tetanus from a scratch after the gate climbing. The tour company and the city need to coordinate time lines so no one else gets locked in the cemetery during their tour.
I do apologize for this experience. I was as shocked as you were that they closed the gates early and without checking for guests. I have been in touch with them and they are deeply apologetic as well and have promised it will not happen again. I know that doesn’t resolve your situation and if you are interested I would be happy to provide you with some gift cards for the inconvenience. Again I do apologize
It was fun to learn how history and ghosts intertwined. The cementary and the neighborhood are gorgeous. We enjoyed our tour with Leah.
I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed your tour with Leah!
Leah was somewhat knowledgeable about the cemetery but not so much in the Montfort drive part. She did say at the start her tour was more historical than ghostly. Years ago I took a Montfort drive ghost walk with a very different experience. We did however see bears in the cemetery so that was thrilling!
Susan, I am sorry to hear that you did not get what you were hoping for in our tour. We do try to add lots of ghost, lore and fun stories alongside history and a great walk through a beautiful cemetery. I’m glad to hear you got to experience our resident bears, and I hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Asheville.
The walk was pleasant and Mike gave both fun and interesting stories about the history of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed it. And would recommend it
Enjoyed the walk in the graveyard. Pretty sure my daughter caught a ghost on my phone. See previous picture. Tour guide knowledgeable and kept the walk emtertaining
