Commencez la visite par Le musée grec et romain d'Alexandrie possède une gamme impressionnante d'objets datant des époques grecque et romaine antiques, avec des pièces remarquables telles que la statue d'Alexandre le Grand, les reliques des empereurs romains et les momies de ces époques grecque et romaine. périodes. Remarque : la bibliothèque d'Alexandrie est fermée les vendredis, samedis et jours fériés. Pour accéder à l'espace de lecture, vous devrez acheter un billet.
En face se trouve la corniche et le vieux port où vous pouvez voir les vieux bateaux de pêche, les hommes qui pêchent et les pêcheurs traditionnels fabriquant des filets. Les photos prises ici sont incroyables. Continuez à voir l'extérieur du château de Quaitbay qui a été construit sur le même site que l'ancien phare d'Alexandrie, l'une des sept merveilles du monde antique. Un château des plus spectaculaires qui est un excellent arrêt photo.
La voiture vous transportera ensuite jusqu'à la plus belle et la plus grande mosquée de la ville, permettant un arrêt photo à la mosquée Abbo Elabbas.

This latesest addition to the Alexandria attractions came as a surprise to us. Amazing display and artifacts. The guides are very helpful. A must see.
This is newly staged and opened ,so forgive if not fully functioning .The exhibits are ranging and wonderful ,staged superbly ,especially the Crocodile Deity Temple ,complete with mummified Crocodile . We were all very excited by the entire experience and we are well travelled and not easily impressed ,so were excited to visit the shop to buy books and support in any way possiblle .Oh no ! The shop is not ooppenn yet ,disappointing indeed . But a good reason to return to Alexandria ,stay at The Metropole ,revisit the wonderful Museums .
Karim was a great guide. We visited the library on our own the previous day since our tour was on a Friday, when the library was closed. Friday was a great day for the tour since the locals all stayed home until 1pm to observe their Sabbath.
Had a great trip. We had a very informative guide with a sense of humor. We saw lots of historical sites.
I thought I had booked a tour of Alexandria with a pickup at the port; understandable as the tour I originally booked was located by Viator under Tours from the port. After I booked was contacted by Ramasside to be advised that the tour was only available from Hotels. With help from Nada and Sarah I managed to find the correct tour. Rammaside then contacted me prior to the tour with a photo of the mosque outside the port gates where the guide, Mohammed would meet us. The WhatsApp message also included a photo of Mohammed. All very impressive. The tour impressed even more. Mohammed was an excellent guide with a brilliant manner and detailed knowledge of all the sites we visited. We enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant and coffee at Mohammed's favourite cafe. An unforgettable day.
Our guide Yaser was amazing. We had only a few hours in the city but he was very knowledgeable about the history of Alexanderia answered all our questions and spoke fluent English. Highly recommend him.
