Le Petersen Automotive Museum est situé sur Wilshire Boulevard le long de Museum Row dans le quartier Miracle Mile de Los Angeles. L'un des plus grands musées de l'automobile au monde, le Petersen Automotive Museum est une organisation à but non lucratif spécialisée dans l'histoire de l'automobile et les programmes éducatifs connexes.
LACMA Art + Film Gala — Le Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) est un musée d'art situé sur Wilshire Boulevard... Il abrite également l'exposition Urban Lights.
Les goudrons fascinent les scientifiques et les visiteurs depuis plus d'un siècle, et aujourd'hui, cette zone est le seul site fossilifère de l'ère glaciaire activement fouillé trouvé dans un lieu urbain au monde ! Au cours des 50 000 dernières années, les animaux, les plantes et les insectes de l'ère glaciaire ont été piégés dans de l'asphalte collant, qui les a préservés pour que nous puissions les retrouver aujourd'hui. Plus de 100 fouilles ont été effectuées dans les Tar Pits depuis le début des années 1900, et la plupart des fossiles découverts ici sont conservés dans le musée de La Brea Tar Pits, au centre des Tar Pits ! Les découvertes varient en taille, d'énormes mammouths et paresseux éteints à des "microfossiles" ou de minuscules restes de plantes et d'animaux qui nous donnent des indices sur la façon dont les écosystèmes et les climats anciens ont changé.

Our tour guide and driver Ben was punctual, and had the perfect routes worked out to maximize all the allotted scheduled time. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. It was the best tour ever!

It was a fantastic trip, the First time for my teens riding Segways. We got Batman leading our tour. We had a lot of Fun.

We had Harvey as our guide, and bless him, he did his best to make the tour entertaining and interesting. He is an interesting and knowledgeable guy but LA is neither an interesting nor a cultural city... unless you like celebrities and want to try peek a glimpse of them like a safari. We had hoped that this tour would show a little bit of the history and culture of the city... there isn't any outside the studios. Even the tar pits, although interesting is so small, 10 minutes and you are done. So despite Harvey's best efforts, there really wasn't much to see on this particular tour. The only place in the city we really enjoyed was the beach, so maybe the Santa Monica tour would be better suited for the less interested in celebrities. Wouldn't recommend this particular one, because there is very little to see. The office and the staff however were lovely, they just didn't have much to work with.
<p>A wonderful experience! Our Segway trainer/guide, in the cowboy hat, made sure we could handle the machines well before we went out to tour. For us first-timers, this tour was long enough. We three highly recommend this great activity and this company!</p>
<p>3 of us had a brilliant time. It only took about 20 minutes to get used to the segways.</p>
