Les guides touristiques formés et certifiés par des professionnels vous apprendront et vous formeront à la conduite en toute sécurité d'un Segway. La visite parcourt principalement la digue lors d'un long trajet où vous découvrirez la brise et les odeurs de la mer. Vous aurez l'occasion de prendre des photos et des vidéos en cours de route. Si vous avez de la chance, vous pourrez même voir les dauphins dans l'océan.

Itinéraire
Construit après l'ouragan Galveston de 1900 pour se protéger des futurs ouragans, la digue de Galveston est une digue de Galveston, au Texas. La construction a commencé en septembre 1902 et le segment initial a été achevé le 29 juillet 1904. De 1904 à 1963, la digue a été étendue de 3,3 miles (5,3 km) à plus de 10 miles (16 km).
La visite visite brièvement le quartier historique où nous passerons le palais de l'évêque, autrefois appelé le château de Gresham.
Nos guides vous montreront le voilier Elissa très apprécié - le Tall Ship officiel du Texas.
La visite se termine au port de Galveston où nous pouvons généralement observer un coucher de soleil à couper le souffle.

We were 2 beginners, after a short time practicing in the alley, we were totally comfortable. Larry was our guide. He was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. We toured around safely learning about the history of Galveston. He gave us recommendations for some free musuems, shopping and restaurants.

The guide was fun, funny, informative, & safe conscious! I would highly recommend this tour. Our group were not at all familiar with segways & after his guidance, riding like they had ridden numerous times in the past. They were sore & tired but ready to go again the following day.
Been coming to Galveston for years but never left the Seawall area. The tour was a great way to see amazing parts of the Island that I didn’t know existed plus hear lots of historical information. Highly recommend!
