Ephèse, était la deuxième plus grande ville de l'Empire romain avec plus de 250 000 habitants au 1er av. Se classant seulement derrière Rome, elle était la deuxième plus grande ville du monde. Éphèse était également une ville portuaire. Et, cette ville géante n'a été construite qu'avec du marbre. Saviez-vous qu'Éphèse avait un plus grand amphithéâtre du monde antique avec plus de 25 000 sièges? La Maison de la Vierge Marie est un endroit où, selon les croyances de nombreuses personnes, Marie, la mère de Jésus, a passé ses dernières années de sa vie. Elle était censée arriver à Ephèse avec Saint-Jean et y a vécu dans les années 37-45 EC jusqu'à son Assomption ou Dormition.
Le Temple d'Artémis ou Artémision, également connu sous le nom de Temple de Diane, était un temple grec dédié à la déesse Artémis. Il était situé à Éphèse et c'était l'une des sept merveilles du monde.
La mosquée Isabey, construite en 1374 - 1375, est l'une des œuvres d'art architectural les plus anciennes et les plus impressionnantes des Beyliks anatoliens. La mosquée est érigée à la périphérie des collines Ayasuluk à Selcuk - Ephesus.

Had a great tour with Volha. The company was considerate of the fact that we came from a cruise and were delayed 10 minutes. The tour guide and driver kept to time and gave us plenty opportunities to walk around the site. Volha was friendly and clearly experienced with the sites.

The Ephesus tour on July 12 was an unforgettable experience. Everything was very well organized, and our guide did an excellent job. She fluently spoke both English and Russian, making the tour comfortable for everyone. We learned a lot about Selçuk, the ancient city of Ephesus, and the local history and attractions. We also visited the House of the Virgin Mary and the ruins of the Temple of Artemis. There was enough time to take photos without feeling rushed. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to answer questions. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

We had a lovely, but very warm day at ephesus and the house of virgin Mary. Our guide Ozgur was very friendly and attentive and alot of knowledge of the history which made it all come to life. We had a small group, which made it easy to interact and ask questions. The lunch was simple, but at a nice hotel. The bus had airco and wifi, wich was welcomed. The only downside was the compulsory stop at the local shops, we visited 3, I would say a maximum of 2 would be better.
