Frank is wonderful! He made our experience so great. He showed us how to kayak, gave us some time to warm up, and then took us to see some incredible spots on the water. He’s super knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Prague history. Super easy to chat with and get to know. Atmosphere is top tier. Our group was the four people in our family, which was great; not crowded at all. If you’re thinking about doing this experience, you absolutely should! You’ll stay fairly dry (we did this tour first thing and were dry to go about our day after), we were provided dry bags for our phones/for a small bag, and you won’t burn all your energy. It’s absolutely worth every cent!
I had visited Prague a few times before this trip. I knew it was a beautiful city. I wanted to get a different view. This tour was a perfect choice for me. It was active, in a different way than walking, but it wasn’t a difficult kayak trip. Vaclav was an excellent guide. He was patient with the skill levels in the group and catered his commentary to each person’s interest. As a solo traveller, it was a plus to walk away from the tour with a few pictures that were not the typical selfie headshots!! Frantisek was fantastic to communicate with, regarding details of the trip, before and after. I would do this tour again!
We’ve been to the amazing city of Prague before and decided that we should see the city from a different perspective this time - via kayaking. Our guide Frank was so accommodating, knowledgeable about the history and culture of Czech Republic and Prague. The tour was easy, informative and enjoyable. We would recommend this to anyone.
Awesome kayaking tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and we got to see some hidden gems you wouldn’t see elsewhere! Kayaks were easy to maneuver so any level of experience can have a great time! Highly recommend!
What a unique and amazing way to view Prague! Our guide was fantastic and gave a great tour filled with local facts and flavor! Highly recommend the early morning hours as it was tour boat free!
This was the most unique way to see Prague. Meeting on the launch ramp was simple. The kayaks are the perfect type to feel safe and are efficient to paddle. We were in safe hands when crossing the river. We learned loads about Prague. It was a hot day and the breeze on the water was so refreshing. We would recommend this tour company wholeheartedly .
Very peaceful and a great way to see the sights away from the crowds! Highly recommended. Thank you very much to the guide, Frank!
Fantastic activity, we had an amazing time. Frank was easy to contact and reliable. He provided all equipment and information needed. A beautiful way to see prague with interesting facts provided about the buildings and city. Frank took great group photos and sent them on to us. Highly recommended tour.
Our guide shared history and beautiful views. I highly recommend seeing the city from a different angle like we did!
This was my second visit to Prague so I decided to take in the city from a different vantage point this time — and it did not disappoint! Vaclav, my kayaking tour guide, was simply outstanding. He was clear and prompt in our communications in the days leading up to the tour, punctual and ready with our kayaks and gear at the meeting spot, and knowledgable and friendly on the tour itself. Not only did Vaclav provide information about the sights but he prioritized safety at all times, ensuring I didn’t stray into the center of the river too much. We also chatted a bit about the history and economy of Czechia as well as his visit to my part of the world, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The trip itself was about 5 km in total, first downstream to the locks near Štavnice island, then back upstream to Charles bridge. We went under the 666-year old Charles bridge as well as remnants of an even older bridge. Then we crossed to the other bank and went up a canal known as Little Venice. This part of the trip was a bit more challenging, which I relished. At the end of the canal we saw the last (non-functional) water mill in Prague, before returning back to our starting spot. He was kind enough to take several photos of me on the water and sent them to me promptly after the tour finished. Being the off-season and 40 F / 5 C weather, I was the only customer, which was nice. I’m positive, though, that the experience would’ve been just as enjoyable with a few more people. Vaclav mentioned that they typically don’t take more than 4-6 people per guide, depending on the customers’ prior experience with kayaking. I highly recommend this tour, whether you’re a first-time or repeat visitor to Prague!
