Vous partirez de notre point info pour atteindre 1000m en moins de 30 minutes pour un arrêt d'1h40 pendant lequel vous pourrez remonter le sentier numéroté. 5 du Gran Cono, en admirant le souffle du volcan et le panorama sur le golfe de Naples. Vous pourrez vous arrêter dans l'un des petits refuges pour prendre un café - en supplément - et un peu de détente, pour vous ressourcer et continuer votre voyage. Le bus vous attendra pour revenir sur la place de la gare et poursuivre vos visites peut-être au parc archéologique d'Herculanum. C'est la seule opportunité de gravir le Vésuve sans attendre et surtout avec le billet d'entrée inclus qui vous permet de planifier votre voyage à l'avance et de ne pas rencontrer de problèmes de dernière minute, car il est toujours complet tous les jours. Attention : l'entrée prévue pourrait être reportée pour des raisons de force majeure liées à l'afflux de réservations quotidiennes, donc patience et compréhension sont demandées, pour nous l'important est de pouvoir vous laisser profiter du cratère !

The meeting point was clear and the bus transportation was outstanding 👏. If driving to meeting point yourself, there's a parking garage not more than 75 feet away across the street. Depending on the size of your car the price will very. Very helpful staff !!
Plenty of time to walk up and down and have a drink along the way. Gravel path exposed to the sunlight, appropriate footwear required to avoid slipping. Wonderful views. Well worth it
Great experience. We took took the 9:30am trip. Go into the information center to get your handwritten ticket. Wait outside for the bus. It leaves at the exact time. Don't try to get on an earlier bus. The bus ride up the mountain is 30 minutes. You have about 2 hours at the mountain. It is a very steep 15-20 minute hike until you see the crater. Our tour returned to the starting point on time. There are nice restaurants in the area. We also walked 5 minutes to Herculaneum and discovered you can view it all from above for free. So, we didn't pay to enter.

Very poorly organized tour. Actually a scam, they got a ticket for the Vesuvius Express for a lot of money. He didn't take us with him, had to wait an hour. When we got there, there was no ticket, they had to be bought. You might as well book this trip yourself.

It was fine. Got train from porto nolano to ercolano scavi for just over 2 euros. Tour operator to right of exit. Picked up approx on time and returned approx on time.
It was not a tour. It was a bus ride and a ticket into Vesuvius. He told us absolutely nothing about Vesuvius. We had to wait 15 minutes after the meeting time for him to show up. Save money by buying your ticket from one of two places in Ercolano right by the train station.
Dear Guest thank for your review but I need to clarify to you and tou the other future guestssome aspects: 1. This tour (bus and ticket) is the only chance for all that haven't a ticket and wanna choice a time slot to go up; 2. This tour from Ercolano is the closest to the vulcano being Ercolano the access door to it; 3. Once on the top if you ask to the guide centre for a group guide you will be served directly from the official guides of the Vesuvius National Park I understand everybody of us has lot of expectations but it seems the vision of the cratere didn't leave you nothing, it's a personal feeling but acceptable, anyway the most of the guests are happy also being a service of transfer + ticket. About the waiting time is normale to provide guests on time because sometimes trains can be full of guests reaching us later, so it's a matter of logistic and organization. Best regards Luca
This tour goes rain or shine. It rained the day we went and was still awesome! The bus took us to a level that has bathrooms and sells ponchos and stuff, so if you forget you will be ok. The tour felt a little rushed. I believe that to be true raining or not. We were told to be back down in 2 hrs. Two of us were down 15 min early and the bus driver was very angry and did not want to wait for the other 2 in our party. He did not speak English, but he went to get someone who did and the young man he got was so kind and helpful and he made the bus driver wait! Otherwise he most definitely would have left without us! Early is late on this tour!
Strongly recommend getting an uber or taxi to the meeting spot. There’s not a lot of parking near their location, and they do leave right on time! However, the excursion itself was amazing. The bus was clean and the driver was great at navigating the windy roads up the mountain. The hike to the top was steep but definitely doable. Once you get to the coffee shop, you’re there! Incredible views of Naples, the bay, and peeking down into the volcano. If hiking 1.3km vertically is not your thing, this is a great option.
