Quittez Reykjavik et dirigez-vous vers le tunnel de lave de Raufarhólshellir pour une visite d'une heure dans une grotte de lave. Le trajet ne dure que 30 minutes. Parcourez le chemin de la lave et découvrez l'histoire du tunnel. Le tunnel de lave est l'un des plus grands d'Islande et des scènes du film Noah ont été tournées dans la grotte. Le chauffeur-guide et l'équipement de sécurité sont inclus.

Nous visitons le tunnel de lave Raufarhólshellir situé à seulement 30 minutes de Reykjavík. Nous assisterons au fonctionnement interne d'une éruption volcanique en marchant sur le chemin d'une lave qui coulait il y a des milliers d'années. Le tunnel de lave est l’un des plus grands d’Islande et peut atteindre 30 mètres de large et 10 mètres de haut. Le plafond du tube de lave s'est effondré près de l'entrée, ce qui crée de belles colonnes de lumière. La gamme fantastique de couleurs du mur du tunnel est due aux différents types de minéraux de la roche.

• Veuillez être à votre point de ramassage désigné au moins 30 minutes avant le départ. Nos véhicules de ramassage sont bien marqués avec les excursions Reykjavik. • Chaque chauffeur a quelques arrêts, donc il peut prendre jusqu'à 30 minutes pour finir de récupérer tout le monde, donc il n'y a pas lieu de s'inquiéter si le bus n'est pas là tout de suite.

July 4, 2026 we were dropped off. I had to ask the ticket counter what to do. Informed me that the tour guide would be taking us in shortly. Helmets and walking poles were provided. Our tour guided us into the amazing lava tunnel. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. There are a lot of steps and uneven paths, the walking pole were very helpful. Overall I enjoyed it very much.
If unsteady on your feet, use the walking sticks! Very helpful. Guide was easy to understand and info was educational.
Wonderful adventure…..learned a lot about geology and volcanoes. Wear good shoes, the inside of the lava tube is wet!
The tunnel was interesting and the guide was knowledgeable. Be prepared that the rocks are uneven and be careful walking. They did provide walking sticks along with the helmet and light, which was helpful.

This tour was fabulous! So glad I didn’t miss it. The tunnels are amazing. Walking requires caution but it was surprisingly not slippery. Take your time to enjoy this unique environment.

Walking sticks are VERY helpful… visitors should know that ahead of time. Guide was amazing! She really filled us in on history etc
