Visite du quartier gothique de Barcelone et spectacle de flamenco

Description

We enjoyed a walk through the gothic quarter under the guidance of our knowledgeable tour guide Huiwing. The 40 minute flamenco show was energetic and was good way to complete the experience.
Tour guide was excellent Cari g and knowledgable and considerate. Liked it a lot. Learned lots of history.
Learn about the history of a very old and significant part of Barcelona with a knowledgeable and accommodating guide. Tatiana was superb. Janice Moore
Very informative interesting stops and history. Guide was patient and knowledgeable. Would recommend
Very well explained , clear and interesting . Your good guide, passionate about history. Thank you for everything
Ramón was our tour guide to the Gothic Quarter today. His English is very easy to understand. He was able to customize our trip to focus on the history of the area as well as the various architecture. We also got to sample some chocolate from one of the oldest chocolate stores (Fargas). He gave us a good background about Flamenco before going into the Tarantos show which was an awesome show - around 40 minutes long. After the tour, he recommended Elche restaurant for their Paella and it did not disappoint at all. One of the best meals we've had in Barcelona. He also volunteered to take photos for us. Overall a great experience and a good pace.
We had an amazing time on this tour. Touring Pandas was easy to work with. They were friendly and efficient. Our tour guide was Olga, who was very informative and friendly. She provided a very good tour through the Gothic Quarter. The Flamenco show was fantastic. They definitely showed passion, panache, and flair during the show. The tapas after the show were phenomenal. There were 12 in our group, and we all walked wrapped up the evening with full stomachs. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend Touring Pandas, and I would not miss this tour.
Totally disappointing tour!! We knew Barcelona well and wanted our 2 grand daughters ( ages 18 and 22) to get an idea of the Gothic quarter combined with seeing a flamenco show. This was their first time in the city. For starters our guide did not wear the identification we were told to look for so we - and other customers- had trouble finding her. Secondly, she was not a local / nor a Spaniard. She was sn Asian girl whose English was difficult to understand. Thirdly, she was boring to listen to. We have had great guides in the Gothic quarter who can relate the history with enthusiasm. Sadly not this guide. We ended up leaving the tour - had dinner and reconnected with the tour to watch the flamenco show at Los Tarantos which was very good. When this company asked me the next day How we liked this tour I gave them our honest feedback. They replied by saying we were clearly “biased” ( I think the word they meant is racist) because the guide was Asian. Then when I tried to say her ethnic background was NOT our complaint about her we got into a war of words via texts. I am a former travel agent and have NEVER been subjected to such lack professionalism from a tour company. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!! Their name is The Touring Pandas
Dear Vicky, We won't enter into too much detail because, as you said, we had enough in the private messages where you called us "a bunch of idiots" and other beautiful things. As we explained, we receive all types of constructive feedback eagerly. But we have some clear limits, and one of them is discrimination. We won't tolerate discrimination of any form towards our staff. On your first message, you clearly stated that you were disappointed that your guide was "an Asian girl, instead of a Spanish person". We firmly believe that anyone, regardless of their origin, has the right to show visitors around the place where they live. In addition, you guide speaks excellent English and this is the first bad review we've received from her in over six years. We were very sad to see that her looks were the main cause of your complaint. Finally, regarding your warning: YES, we also call customers who share your point of view to stay away from us. We are called The Touring Pandas and we are proud to be an inclusive company were everybody has the same opportunities. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative in the Gothic Quarter. He also had a great personality. A wonderful job. The Flamenco show is fantastic! I enjoyed myself immensely.
Great and informative tour all thanks to our guide. Passionate and very informed about old and new Barcelona. I really recommend this tour for those who like to know more about Barcelona and the past.
