Visite du quartier de Paris Le Marais Dégustation originale de mets et de vins

Description

Oscar was a great guide! Knowledgable about the different areas of Paris and local culture. Visited numerous unique food stores for tastings. Highly recommend!
Our walk with Margo was fantastic. Although a 99F weather experience, we managed to find the shade and air conditioned stops. A wonderful experience.
My kids, ages 19 and 17, said this was one of the best tours they've taken (and they've done tours in Italy, England, Greece, and Japan!) Oscar did a great job in educating us how food is so intertwined in the history, art, and politics of France. I loved the story of how the toasting of glasses originated from the fear of being poisoned.
We had a great time with Pierre. Lots of desserts at the beginning of the tour. Wish we could have spread out. Finished with Onion Soup and Wine- was 90'. That wasn't his fault but wish would be been a dish more universally liked. Good visits to all the the places and interesting background information. He also gave us some great recommendations for other restaurants.
We took a chance on this tour for our day exploring parts of Paris, taking in the sights and tasting all the flavors — and it exceeded every expectation. Our tour guide, Oscar, was beyond incredible: extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and spoke excellent English. The experience was so enjoyable that the tour could have gone on all day and we would have been perfectly happy. If you’re visiting Paris, this is an absolute must-do experience. And if you can, make sure to request Oscar — you will not be disappointed.
It was nice and we enjoyed it, but definitely not worth the price. If it was more like $80 rather than $150 it would have been much better.
Hi Elisabeth, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour and the experience overall. We understand that pricing can feel subjective, and we’d like to explain that our tours are designed as premium small-group experiences. The price reflects not only the food and wine tastings, but also the expertise of our local guides, the carefully selected artisan shops and producers in Le Marais, and the personalized experience we aim to provide to every guest. Our goal is to offer more than just tastings — we want visitors to discover the history, culture, and hidden gems of the neighborhood through passionate local guidance and high-quality products. We truly appreciate your comments, as they help us continue improving, and we hope to welcome you again in Paris in the future. Best regards, The Original Food Tours team
Th good choices were wonderful, and the walking distances were short. Our guide Lolla was fantastic!
There is no place to sit down at most of the tasting places and most of the guests were elderly. This made for a very uncomfortable tour. Locations and food were not impressive. Dinner was a sit down restaurant. But after taking 6 food tours in different european cities, this is my least favorite,
Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that this is a walking food tour, as clearly indicated in the description. As such, most tastings take place standing or on the go, which is a standard format for this type of experience. We understand that this may not suit everyone, particularly guests seeking a more seated or relaxed pace, and we encourage future guests to take this into consideration when booking. Regarding your comment that the locations and food were “not impressive,” we are unfortunately unable to understand what specifically did not meet your expectations, as no details were provided. We carefully select our partners to showcase authentic, local cuisine rather than fine dining, which is also outlined in the tour description. We’re glad you appreciated the seated dinner portion, but we regret that the overall concept of the tour did not align with your preferences.
A wonderful way to discover the gourmet highlights and history of the Marais. Pierre our guide was knowledgeable, answering our questions with interest. Highly recommend this tour.
Fun Louvre experience. Guide was great! If you want to see the best of the museum and not spend the whole day there this is the tour for you.
