Excellent trip around the harbour, port and smaller river areas. Very cold day, so the well heated cabin was a welcome retreat. Onboard commentary is in German (my school boy skills got some). that said the boat was far from full and the guide did interject in English throughout. Download the app and receive good commentary via GPS. Refreshments available on board and served with nice humour. Highly recommended

Experience is only 1 hour and not 2 as advertised. Although English audio available on an app, there is no option to have information available in English. Very isolating and reduced the experience. Even after this, views were spectacular from the waterways.
We were traveling with a boat from Abicht for 2 hours in the port. The captain of the ship and at the same time the entertainer is doing his job so well. We are both 28 and were on board with the youngest and were super entertained. It is very entertaining and fun designed, absolutely no sign of boredom. We are very excited and have taken some knowledge with us what we can share with our family and friends.

A perfect, entertaining excursion, especially for hot days. It was wonderfully airy, the guide was very funny and we could see a lot: Blankenese, Airbus, the Aida, the docks.

We really liked it. Very amusing moderation of Marlon (?), but also with many interesting facts. The journey through the Speicherstadt is an experience, but also the container terminal

Great view of a working harbour. Interesting to get up so close to container ships. Would have liked an option to have audio guide in English if possible

Do not let the photo fool you. 80% of the tour is looking at container ships in the harbor. The small part through the city is unguided and hard to see. The app is not user friendly. The guide speaks loudly in German making it hard to even hear the app. He gives a detailed speech while the app is a brief overview and hard to follow. The boat was also very far from the meeting spot listed so leave plenty of time. I am a big fan of Viator. This is the first time I have been hugely disappointed.
Dear customers, the Hamburg boat tour is mainly based on the port of Hamburg with its container terminal and a part of the Speicherstadt and the Elbphilharmonie. However, the canals of the Speicherstadt are often not navigable due to low water levels. We remind visitors that Hamburg is not Venice or Amsterdam, and that it has completely different characteristics. The tour description, as well as the information provided with your ticket, clearly states that the live commentary is in German. Therefore, it is expected that this commentary will be broadcast over the speakers throughout the boat. We have several boarding bridges, from deck 1 to deck 9, and until 20 minutes before departure it is not possible to know where the next boat will depart from. For this reason we direct customers to deck 1 where the ticket center is located, which will give the exact boarding bridge. Best regards
An interesting 2 hour cruise through Hamburg. However, we only speak English and the audio was only in German. I was given a flyer with directions to download an audio ap. However, I could not do so without internet service. Also ride does not provide headsets. So we were not prepared for this excursion. Wish we had been given directions when we signed up.

We got here a wonderful, 2 hour round trip through the Speicherstadt and the harbour. The facts were presented very humorously and the guide also addressed any additional questions. It was just great! We can highly recommend this experience (especially the 2 hour version)! For those who want to save some money, check out Get your Guide, where we were able to get a 10 Euro discount on each ticket today. Definitely a Recommendation!
Nice quiet evening tour, can sit inside or outside - better views and possibilities for photos if outside (depending on weather), food and drink options inside
