À l'intérieur, émerveillez-vous devant l'escalier d'or, les statues d'Hercule et d'Atlas, et l'art incroyable du plafond. Promenez-vous dans la Grande Salle du Conseil, où le Paradis du Tintoret exige un selfie. Ensuite, plongez dans l’armurerie – portraits, épées, armures – et dans les luxueux appartements des Doges. We had a wonderful tour of the Doge’s Palace. Our guide, Alexia, was outstanding! She provided excellent information and allowed plenty of time for questions and to take in the magnificence of Doge’s Palace. Her knowledge of her subject matter was superior. This tour is a must see for visitors of Venice. The information shared by our guide was invaluable in understanding Venice’s history and the political climate that existed at the time of the Doges. The Palace is breathtakingly beautiful.

Ilaria was an excellent guide giving us plenty of historical information about the Palace in a lively and engaging way. There were opportunities for short stops, photographs, and signposting on to further places to investigate. The pace and delivery was just right.

Our guide was Ilaria. She was so friendly and helpful and super knowledgable. She had answers to all our questions and her English was amazing. Her passion for Venice and its history was delightful. The palace itself is well worth a visit. Definitely better with a guide as we wouldn’t have learnt half as much without one. The paintings are beautiful and the history behind the palace is so interesting.
