It was an interesting trip with a good guide who provided us with lots of information. We had expected to do a long ”circular” route but we found that the return trip was exactly the same as the trip in the morning.
Perfect organization. Everything calculated (except for the traffic on the road). The choice of restaurant for lunch was also worthy (inside a good-level hotel, so not one of the many kiosks). The only flaw was not providing a transfer for those staying in Kotor, given the shortage of parking (for the entire day in the cheapest one, far from the meeting point, a full 30 euros!). Finally, the vehicle also deserves a mention, being a new Mercedes minivan (so not a "clunker" used for the occasion).
Spectacular, the North of Montenegro is wonderful, it is a tour that I really recommend, going to that black lake was really great (I wanted to have more time here) and well, the guide Davor was 10/10 explaining all the history of the country to us!! It is true that it is a bit expensive, but the transport they take you in is very comfortable
Essential experience if you go to Montenegro, Durmitor Park with the Black Lake is spectacular, the views from the Tara bridge are impressive and the visit to the Ostrog monastery is overwhelming. Our guide Nicola was the best of the best, attentive to everything and everyone always.
This was a great trip, our guide Igor and driver Dragon were exceptional and very professional. We learned a lot about the history of Montenegro and saw some beautiful site and locations. Great stops for breakfast and lunch with plenty of food options at reasonable prices. Thoroughly recommend this trip.
Danny was our guide and Drago was the driver. Both were excellent. Danny is super knowledgeable and accommodating. Drago is a phenomenal driver. They’re both super sweet. The tour was long but it didn’t feel that way. The stops were perfect and the country is beautiful.
We had a great day! Igor was the perfect tour guide. Saw some beautiful places- Ostrog was the highlight. Definitely recommend!
The tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about his job and his passengers! It was a pleasure to be a part of the tour! Additionally, anything we had issues with he dealt with calm and assistance, and was very kind! The tour itself was great and very well planned!
It's a long and expensive day (£500 for an adult with a 14 and a 16 year old, if you include the optional meals and zipwire), and it's 14 hours on the bus (with stops). However, the tour guide was very good, enthusiastic and informative, and the sights were varied and interesting. If they could shave-off approx. 20% of all the different costs, it would be a no-brainer.
We went on the tour on 23.07.26 and whilst it’s a bit expensive and it is a long day, it’s worth every penny. Yes there is a lot of driving but the views are spectacular and it doesn’t really feel like a long day. Our guide, Igor was brilliant, very informative and helpful. Thank you to the driver too! Igor arranged for us to be dropped off in Risan which meant we could get a bus back to Herceg Novi where we are staying easily. Wear comfortable clothing, take a thin jacket and trainers are advised although not essential - I can see how the weather may change so worth taking an additional layer. The monastery was the highlight for me, a must see that we probably wouldn’t have seen unless we went on this tour. For thrill seekers the zip wire was great. Lunch was as another highlight at Hotel Nordic; great choice of food, reasonably priced. Definitely recommend this tour!
