Description

Best Tour of the History of Chocolate in Bern!

This chocolate tour was fantastic! Even though it was extremely hot, we were still able to enjoy delicious chocolate and walk the beautiful city of Bern. Felix was a great tour guide. He was super knowledgeable and was able to keep the chocolate from melting all day. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who wants to enjoy a ton of chocolate in the place where it was perfected. It was a great way to learn about the history of Bern.

Fun, Tasty and Informative Tour!

We toured on a hot day, but Felix kept us in the shade as much as possible. We learned about the history of Swiss Chocolate, as well as more about the country. Many delicious tastes of chocolate are part of the tour and we all left with an appreciation of this Swiss confection!

Better than we hoped!

So much more than we expected. This was a very informative tour about the birth of Swiss chocolate and the founding of companies that have been around longer than my country has existed. The tastings were fantastic, and the tour enjoyable!

Sweet birthday present with a pinch of history of the city of Bern

Felix told us many interesting stories about the origin of chocolate in Bern. Tobler, Kaiser, Villars, , Wander, Bloch and also Lindth had their origins in the picturesque sandstone houses. He has also repeatedly crossed the line to the present day and so the two hours from the cage tower via Markt- und Justicegasse to Nydeggbrücke flew by. Again and again Felix sweetened our time with a chocolate specialty and we said goodbye to him at the bear park. My partner had a huge joy in this birthday present and we both thank her for that.

Diverse Tastings!

The tour with Felix was a great time. He has a passion for chocolate and love of the city; he taught us a lot about both. He had a wide variety of pre-packaged chocolates, beverages, and we got chocolates from a local chocolate shop. Highly recommend.

Sweet!

My husband and I had the best time on this chocolate tour. Felix was so kind and his knowledge of the local chocolate (and just chocolate in general) really made our day. We really enjoyed the Ragusa and brought some home with us, along with some from the shop, Nobile, he showed us. We came for our honeymoon and enjoyed our sweet stay!! Thank you Felix!! - Caroline and Alton from Alabama, USA

Recommended chocolate tour

The chocolate tour with Felix was a great experience. We are at home near Bern, but we learned a lot about the origin of chocolate in Switzerland and Bern today. Felix imparts his knowledge in an entertaining and exciting way. The chocolate tasting is great, and the degu mug from Casa Nobile is wonderful. We can highly recommend the tour and thank Felix again for the entertaining 2 hours with him.
