Description
Participez à une visite intime de deux vignobles/fermes locales et de leurs caves, guidée par un Expert viticole et découvrez tout le processus de vinification, du vignoble à la botte. Profitez de la dégustation de trois types de vin dans chaque vignoble, tandis que vous en apprendrez plus sur les saveurs du vin et comment mieux déguster. Montez ensuite jusqu'au plus haut sommet de la région de l'Algarve au sud du Portugal. Déjeunez ou dînez avec vue sur le coucher de soleil côtier dans un restaurant au sommet de la montagne avec quelques-unes des meilleures spécialités de la cuisine Portugaise et une vue panoramique sur l'Algarve.

Situé sur la zone frontalière nord de Portimão et Alvor. Avec la grande montagne de Monchique, qui domine la vue lorsque nous sommes dans les vignes, cette grande propriété possède également des zones de croissance de chênes-lièges, de champs de blé et d'orangers. Dans la famille depuis 1865 et producteurs de raisins depuis longtemps, cette ferme a construit leur cave moderne en 1999 et a été la première à produire des vins d'appellation d'origine certifiés en Algarve. Sur l'esplanade, à la boutique ou dans les fûts de chêne est visible la tradition de ce domaine familial.
Situé au nord de Portimão, déjà sur le comté de Silves. Il s'agit d'une production viticole exclusive, celle située le plus au nord de la région, au début des montagnes de Monchique. Appartenant à un couple portugais-français qui s'est rencontré à Bordeaux, où il est né et a grandi entouré par l'influence du vin. Ils ont déménagé dans la région au début du siècle pour démarrer ce projet à partir de zéro. Dans les pentes de la rivière Odelouca Vlley, ils ont planté leur vignoble et construit leur petite cave bien équipée, qui abrite également une salle de dégustation, une salle de barriques et un laboratoire.

This tour is a must! From start to finish, Fabio was so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating for me and our group. The wineries were beautiful and the wine was very good! The scenery along the way was amazing. The lunch at the top of the mountain was quite an experience! Would def recommend!

Our guide Fabio was very informative before the trip answering my queries promptly . On the the day he was very knowledgeable about the wine making process, Both wineries were quite different from each other . Fabio was helpful, knowledgeable, and comfortable to be around throughout the day. The van is also comfortable and air conditioned. We both get carsick and had no issues even going up and down the mountain. There were two of us, so we did one premium tasting and one regular tasting at each Quinta, which was a fun way to try more of the wines. Driving up to Monchique was very beautiful, and you get to see the cork forest on the way up. We went to O Luar da Foia, where we both tried black pork. This is a LARGE amount of food, so go hungry, because it is delicious! Overall, this was a wonderful experience. Fabio is very patient and personable, and answered all of our questions. The wine and food were delicious. Fabio’s recommendations were great. Don’t skip this!

This is an intimate wine tasting and learning experience that Fabio has curated. We learned so much about the history of Algarve wine production through modern day, and simply relaxed and enjoyed the beauty of the mountains and welcoming spirit of the residents in this region.
