Notre premier arrêt est Cambridge, une ville réputée pour ses bâtiments et sa culture uniques et ornés et une ville historique pleine de caractère. Vous verrez le meilleur de Cambridge lors d'une visite à pied de la ville avec votre Guide Expert. Ensuite, nous traversons Oxford, la "City of Dreaming Spires", dont les cours feutrées et les bâtiments élégants et dignes usés par le temps ont inspiré des générations d'érudits (dont Bill Clinton dans les années 1970) et d'écrivains, dont Lewis Carroll qui a écrit "Alice au pays des merveilles" ici.

La rivière Cam (/ ˈkæm /) est la principale rivière qui traverse Cambridge dans l'est de l'Angleterre. Après avoir quitté Cambridge, il coule vers le nord et l’est dans la Great Ouse au sud d’Ely, à Pope's Corner. Le Great Ouse relie la Cam à la mer du Nord à King's Lynn: La distance totale entre Cambridge et la mer est d’environ 64 km et est navigable pour les bateaux, les petites embarcations et les bateaux à rames.
La bibliothèque Bodleian est la principale bibliothèque de recherche de l'université d'Oxford et est l'une des plus anciennes bibliothèques d'Europe. Avec plus de 12 millions d'ouvrages, c'est la deuxième plus grande bibliothèque de Grande-Bretagne après la British Library.
Dans le collège Christ Church, vous visiterez l'un des collèges les plus prestigieux de l'Université. Fondée par Henri VIII en 1532, Christ Church fonctionne également comme la plus petite cathédrale du Royaume-Uni. Sa belle architecture l'a vu figurer dans des films tels que Harry Potter et La Boussole d'or, tandis qu'il a également inspiré des répliques à travers le monde. La célèbre salle à manger, par exemple, a été reproduite à l'Université Cornell et à l'Université de Chicago. En quittant Oxford, nous passerons par les Chilterns, une région d'une beauté naturelle exceptionnelle. We had a bad day before the day of the tour. Our guide and driver Cameron and Sunil turned it around with a perfect tour yet from London, with our 1-day Cambridge and Oxford tour. Cameron is hilarious yet knowledgeable. He entertained the whole lot 14 of us with jokes and interesting facts along the way, yet with much knowledge within. We really enjoyed his company throughout the day. Sunil, on the other hand, is a careful and composed driver, who made our road trip smooth as silk. While travelling from one location to another which typically took 1-2 hours, we always had good rest and felt fresh before we started our next location. Highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough, with duo Cameron (not Diaz unfortunately) and Sunil. Kudos and keep it up!

Cameron is amazing! He knows a lot of history and English culture. He even explained topics from other tours we took. Very cheerful and caring about the whole group. Sunil super sharp and nice.

Mariya was a knowledgeable and an excellent guide. Both Oxford and Cambridge are large and very crowded. It would be helpful to have a print map with the meeting place clearly marked as I was almost left on both campuses.

I went on the tour for Cambridge and Oxford with the tour guide Cameron and the driver Abdi. Right from the start I thought the tour was going to be great because of the vibe and personality of the tour guide. Cameron was very acessible and knowledgeable, I loved the facts that he knew, some off the history like the inspiration for Chronicles of Narnia. Also, the personality and the jokes helped to make the day smoother and enjoyable.
