Découvrons l'Istanbul et visitons les murs de la ville, d'un côté à l'autre et apprenons-en davantage sur l'histoire, la culture et la religion de l'Empire romain, de l'Empire byzantin, de l'Empire ottoman. Explorez la ville de la mer de Marmara à la rivière Golden horn. Découvrez l'histoire des murs, des tours, des palais depuis 2000 ans jusqu'à aujourd'hui en Turquie. Nous visiterons les donjons de Yedikule, les portes de Constantinople, les murs de défense de la ville et le palais de la Blachernea romaine. Nous visiterons Golden Gate, forteresse ottomane, portes de constantinople, et la région de Blachernea. La visite du palais est facultative.
Options de l'excursion
Itinéraire
Nous commencerons notre visite par une prise en charge à votre hôtel et une visite de la forteresse de Yedikule, des donjons, de la porte dorée des murs de Théodisias. Nous visiterons les tours des murs et verrons les portes de la ville.
Nous découvrirons les murs d'Istanbul et en apprendrons davantage sur l'histoire des murs, à l'époque romaine, byzantine et ottomane. Nous traverserons la mer de Marmara d'un côté à l'autre, la Corne d'Or, la rivière des murs.
Notre prochain arrêt est le palais de Blachernea, qui est le palais construit par l'empire romain et le seul palais que nous pouvons voir aujourd'hui. À la fin de la visite, nous vous ramènerons à vos hôtels.

It was a great tour that took into account our interests. Emre was helpful, friendly, and very informative.
The walls are fantastic as an important part of history and you see many aspects of them. However we had a very disturbing event happened. When we were at the museum, another guide came up and said our guide was not an actual guide and was there illegally with us. This other guide told us he had called the police and that our lives were in danger. The two men argued and we did not know what to do. We never felt in danger with him so we decided to stay with him. The same guide argued with him again at the exit and followed us to the van and took pictures of the van plate. It was all very disturbing and shook our confidence in Viator. It ruined the day for us. I hope this can be straightened out so others do not have the same occurrence.
Have hiking shoes and camera to take pictures. There a 3 sites, and 2 require going up steps which maybe uneven so be careful. Much more content and history than I expected.
Emre was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable of the history of the walls from Roman through Ottoman times. He was great at communicating and very flexible. I couldn’t leave without seeing the famous Walls of Old Constantinople and I wasn’t disappointed.
The tour was lackluster. The information was basic. The guide was nice but had little to work with what we saw.
