Description
Commencez au marché de la Boqueria, l'un des plus grands marchés alimentaires au monde. Pendant que votre Guide vous guidera à travers les allées à motifs, vous en apprendrez davantage sur les traditions culinaires catalanes et pourrez même déguster du nougat et des olives. Ensuite, explorez la pittoresque promenade des Ramblas. Imprégnez-vous de l'énergie de cet ancien marché et prenez quelques photos de cafés en plein air, et de l'insolite mosaïque Miró. Dans le quartier gothique, découvrez le marché Santa Caterina, le premier marché couvert de la ville, avec un toit ondulé et coloré et les ruines d'un monastère médiéval. Nous nous arrêterons également dans une boutique de caganers pour écouter l’histoire d’une des traditions les plus étranges de Catalogne. Visite de l'église Santa Maria del Mar et enfin du marché El Born, un bâtiment saisissant abritant aujourd'hui les vestiges du quartier Born.

Après avoir visité le marché de la Boqueria, vous vous arrêterez à Las Ramblas, célèbre promenade bordée d'arbres regorgeant de cafés, de boutiques et de stands de fleurs parfumées.

Markets run through. A basic into to see where the markets are but only in the st. Joseph market we had a few minutes to visit a few stalls with the guide and taste a couple items. Then 10 minutes to shop before racing through the streets to the next destinations. Perrine was very informative and easy to interact. On a hot 40° day, it's tough to keep her pace tho.
