L'excursion comprend une ascension en moto ou en fourgonnette, une descente à pied et la visite d'un toit-terrasse offrant une vue panoramique idéale pour les photos et les vidéos. Le vrai Rolé de Cria ! Notre visite des favelas de Rocinha est une visite unique, menée par des guides locaux munis de badges d'accès, offrant une expérience complète à travers les rues de la communauté. Lors de la visite, nous montons dans la favela en moto ou, si vous préférez, en minibus. Nous avons également visité un toit-terrasse surplombant la favela, offrant une vue incroyable, puis nous sommes descendus dans la favela, en passant par des ruelles et des rues étroites avec des escaliers et des passages étroits — chose courante dans une favela — ce qui nous a permis de découvrir de près la vie quotidienne et l'énergie du lieu.

We made a tour of the Rocinha with the guide Gabriel and it was an incredible experience. From the beginning he showed a lot of knowledge about the history of the community, explaining in a clear and interesting way how the Rocinha developed over the years. Gabriel was always very professional, friendly and respectful with the locals, which made the visit authentic. Rather than just a tourist tour, we felt we really learned about the culture, the day-to-day and the challenges of the community. He also answered all our questions with a lot of patience and brought various curiosities that we would not find easily on guides or on the internet. We highly recommend taking the tour with Gabriel. It was undoubtedly one of the most significant moments of our visit to Rio de Janeiro.

The guides picked us up on time and at meeting point. We made our way up favela in moto which was one of the best parts. I never felt unsafe as I followed instructions and didn’t record or have my phone out when I was told not to. The families who allowed us on their rooftops for vantage points and drone footage were also very welcoming and friendly. 10/10, this experience is a must if you’re in Rio!!
