Awesome view, great tour guide!

Gary was awesome as the tour guide! He talked a lot but was all relative to where we were and what we were seeing while on the way to the cliffs. He was happy that we were able to see the cliffs as the previous days the guests were unable to see them, what a sight!! He handled the small windy roads with ease, he kept spirits lifted with fun little jokes through the ride!

wonderful

It was wonderful, specially Gary, our driver and trip narrator, he was amazing with his storytelling, as if he brought back the history alive with his narration, I will take the tour again if i ever visit Galway.

Gary was excellent.

This was a great trip. We were driven and entertained by our guide, a marvel of a man called Gary. He held a monologue going the entire way, telling us histories and anecdotes, pertaining to both the land, the people, the places, history and personal experience and superstition. A font of good cheer and valuable knowledge. I believe he translated the pulnabrone dolmen erroniously, but I was entertained the entire way. We stopped at the castle and the dolmen, and both were a treasure to experience. His stories about the peculiar landscape and the resulting culture was exciting. In the end, we came to the cliffs of moher, which is a wonder, obviously. We were there in summer, but as Gary said, it is best to visit from october to may, because the summer heat causes a lot of fog to amass. We still got an excellent view. Then we returned. We stopped once more to see the stone beach, which we could explore more in depth (though just for 15 minutes). When we returned to Galway, Gary recommended several very good pubs, after being asked about the live music scene in Galway, and every one of them was a treasure. 10/10, would go again.

Good trip

Overall good experience, one suggestion to the tour company is to be more strict on passengers carrying food and beverages on bus, someone spilled food on me which I complained about to the bus driver Gary.

What a great day!

Gary was a fabulous bus driver and tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about the area. He was charismatic and made hearing the information interesting! We learned about rock walls and I enjoyed it. He answered all our questions about the area - even new home builds. The tour itself had well placed stops a long the way to get off the bus, stretch your legs and see the sights! Cliffs of Moher was amazing! We got lucky with a nice day - no wind. Highly recommend!

Enjoyable excursion!

Quite a few interesting stops, gorgeous scenery, both at the Cliffs and en route to and from, especially the return. Gary was a gracious and interesting guide.

Top tier

Our guide Dave was great - very entertaining while providing all the info we needed. The sights were beautiful and we were pleasantly surprised that we liked the stops before and after the cliffs just as much as the cliffs.

Check the weather conditions

I took the Burrens and Cliffs of Moher tour with Galway tour company yesterday (7 July). The booking and meet up for the tour was a smooth process. The tour ran for around 8 hours and was overall good value for money. Our driver and tour guide (Gary) was very professional, knowledgeable and enjoyed a bit of craic which made the time pass easily. The tour included several stops that were interesting but timed to the minute. Perhaps the only downsides were that the seats on the bus were tight so it wasn’t the most comfortable of rides in that respect (I notice that seems to be a feature of Irish buses) - and perhaps the biggest disappointment was that the cliffs were shrouded in sea mist/fog which apparently happens with certain weather conditions. I should have done some research first but also wondered if the tour company had some responsibility to warn people of this possibility (given the cliffs are the main reason you would take that particular tour)

Couldn't ask for a better tour experience!

This tour is absolutely worth the price, you learn so much and see a ton of the countryside around Galway and Doolin. The stops are spaced out nicely, you get time to walk around/explore, and the lunch stop was delicious. I could have easily done another 8 hours riding in the bus and listening to our guide. Patrick was the absolute best tour guide! His stories and facts were so entertaining and he had the best dry, Irish, delivery ever. My friends and I loved him! The whole experience was lovely from start to finish
