Overall a good experience and well organized. First arrival at the Marina and need to queue up outside for a guy to sell you an access ticket. Don t arrive before 8am as this is a lot more busy with long queue under the sun. Then when you have your ticket you pass the Marina gate entrance and look for the tour quite well indicated (everything is branded under the name of the tour top 3 isla. Then the guide check you in at the booth and have to wait for departure at 8:45 (that s why no need to go early). Then we boarded the speed boat with a reasonably small group (only about 20 people which is very small compared to all other groups 8 have seen. Then went for a one hour speed boat ride and got to the first Island (well more beach club really) called Bora Bora. We stayed there for 1 hour 1/2. They give you a good sunbed and a drink and you can order whatever you want. The beach is nice. Quite fun. Then at 11;30 boarded to boat again for a short trip to Isal Bela where we had lunch (it was okay but nothing to sing about) and could enjoy the beach and get around till 13:30. Then boarded the boat again for short trip to Pao Pao. Lovely resort quite secluded and laid back. Lovely beach and good sun beds. And then made our way back at 3pm.... and little did we know. Because of the wind the sea became very rough and the return took 1:30 and was quite tough. But we made it back to the Marina at 16:30. So it was a good day and gives you a good impression of the Islands. It is true that this tour avoids the super crowded spaces and that it what I was looking for. All places where we stopped were relatively quiet and spacious. It was fun, well organized and serious organisation. But I would qualify it more as a Beach Clib hoping rather than an Island hoping tour! Anyway, good value overall.
Viator said the muelle fee was 34,500 COP and some dude with a fanny pack and a 3 Islas Polo charged us 41,500. Said something about taxes. The ride was short and sweet to all 3 Islands. The water was as beautiful as the pictures. The ride back on the boat was rough. DON'T SIT IN THE FRONT, LOL! The fresh fried fish was soo good. Coconut rice.....o.....m.....g!
The tour guide, Mr. Marcano, was terrific! We took our private boat and followed the tour group; it appeared organized, low-stress, lunch was included and a good amount of time at each island. Enjoyed!
Alejandro had super good vibes and so did the captains
Of all the island tours, I believe this is the best option; beautiful, lasting, and the service you receive is excellent. The three islands are very good, enjoyable, and fun. It is the perfect time for an activity like this for a day, and best of all, it gives you time to do something else in the evening.
My trip to the Rosario Islands with the Top 3 Islands Tour turned out to be a worthwhile experience. The young men leading the tour were wonderful — professional, attentive, and incredibly kind. They made a genuine effort to guide me in English since I don’t speak Spanish, which I truly appreciated. I did miss out on the jokes they shared with the rest of the group in Spanish — everyone was laughing, and I wished I could’ve understood the humor. Still, their energy and friendliness made the atmosphere enjoyable. The boat ride back was both scary and adventurous. It’s not something I’d want to repeat, but I can still appreciate the thrill and the memory it created. Of the three islands, Bora Bora was the standout. It was the cleanest, the most organized, and the dance lessons added a fun and memorable touch to the visit. Lunch was tasty as well, rounding out a full and satisfying day. Overall, despite a few moments that pushed me out of my comfort zone, the tour was a meaningful part of my trip and gave me a beautiful glimpse of the Rosario Islands.
The guides were friendly and so were the workers from the islands. I am not giving it 5 stars because I honestly hated Pao Pao. I am not sure why it’s even included. I don’t know if it’s the area we were at but it was not beautiful at all. Isabela was cute and relaxing, but Bora Bora was nice. Still recommend this tour though. We spend about 90 minutes on each island which was way more than enough.
It is worth it for those who have little time and want to explore some beach club options. We stayed practicamwnte 1h30 at each point. Bora Bora with good structure, entertainment and high prices. Islabela beeeem simple in relation to infrastructure and meal. Pao Pao offers a better structure than Islabela, good beach, high prices. The transfer was safe, friendly guide.
My family and I had a great experience during our “top 3 island” tour. Bora bora was the whole experience within itself. The ambience and attentiveness of everyone was everything we expected. Our tour guide Jose made the experience 10x better! He was extremely attentive and made sure everyone was having a great time. You can tell he loves what he does because he is so good at it.
This is a very fun experience! Our tour guide Abel was amazing, so grateful for his fluent English to help us. Bora Bora was a legit party!!
