Notre visite privée de Wolf's Lair & Treblinka combine 2 sites très importants de la Seconde Guerre mondiale: le siège d'Hitler et un camp de la mort. Cette visite commence et se termine à Varsovie. Wolf's Lair (Wolfschanze) est situé dans le district de Mazury Lake (ancienne Prusse orientale), à 4 heures de route de Varsovie. Le complexe contient plus de 80 bâtiments, y compris des bunkers massifs pour les hauts fonctionnaires allemands comme Göring, Bormann et Hitler, entre autres. Les quartiers étaient une ville autosuffisante et en 1944, environ 2000 personnes vivaient ici. Pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, Hitler a passé plus de 800 jours dans Wolf's Lair et ce fut également le site d'une tentative d'assassinat contre sa vie.
Treblinka II était un camp d'extermination nazi allemand, situé à 100 km à l'est de Varsovie. Il a fonctionné pendant 1 an pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale et le nombre de victimes a dépassé 800 000. Vous n'y verrez pas de bâtiments authentiques car les Allemands ont détruit le camp en 1943. Nous commencerons notre visite par le musée où vous pourrez regarder 2 courts métrages sur Reinhard Camp d'Action et Treblinka. Vous y verrez également une maquette du camp. Ensuite, nous marcherons jusqu'au site du monument. Ensuite, nous continuerons vers Treblinka I, qui était un camp de travaux forcés.Vous aurez la chance d'y voir une carrière de gravier - lieu de travaux esclavagistes et site d'exécution.

A great tour to experience WWII history. Anna was a most enjoyable guide who spent a long day with us, providing a wealth of information on both locations we visited. Upon reaching Wolf's Lair, Anna introduced us to a very experienced guide who showed us around the site. It's a long day visiting both sights from Warsaw, but Anna made it a great day.
Two essential WWII historical sights were the basis for this excellent full day tour. Anna, my wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable driver-guide, communicated very well before the tour so I knew exactly what to expect. She picked me up promptly at my hotel in Old Town Warsaw and told me so much about Treblinka during our drive there. Once we arrived she took me on a super good, informative and detailed tour of Treblinka. I knew very little about the history of the camp, so Anna taught me a lot. Touring Treblinka which, at that time, was the first concentration camp I had ever been to, was a powerful, moving experience. Anna then drove me to Hitler's Wolf's Lair which was creepy, disturbing, dark, fascinating, and essential viewing for anybody who is genuinely interested in WWII history. Anna had another guide who was an absolute expert in the history and background of the Wolf's Lair, and she walked me around the entire site for almost two hours. I learned a LOT. While I was aware of the assassination attempt against Hitler which happened here (see the Tom Cruise movie Valkyrie) they both filled me in on so much more. Well worth seeing. Anna was a terrific guide and driver. Highly recommended tour.
