This tour was amazing! Our driver was fantastic! He picked us up from the port of Southampton drove us to Stonehenge and then up to London. We were very comfortable.

Shaun of Botley Taxis picked us (4 adults and 2 teens) up promptly at our London hotel. He immediately made us comfortable with his friendly and professional demeanor. While his taxi was a bit well used, it was spacious and comfortable and plenty of space for us and 6 large suitcases and 6 carry-on bags. Shaun pointed out various famous locations as we left London and proceeded to Windsor Castle. He explained the layout of the castle, dropped us near the main entrance and gave us his card to call him when we were ready to leave, which we did (we did not enter the castle - the line was ridiculously long- so we checked out some of the neighboring sites and side streets) The ride to Stonehenge passed through some lovely countryside and when we arrived Shaun again took us close to the main entrance. Again, he told us to just call him when we were ready. We bought our tickets and downloaded the free audio guide, then spent almost 2 hours touring the exhibit and site - taking photos and enjoying an ice cream before calling Shaun. He met us by the entrance and then took us directly to our cruise port, on time, where he helped off load the luggage and wished us safe travels. All in all, Shaun not only provided adequate transportation, he also helped make the day an interesting exploration of two historical sites.

Had to see Stonehenge and found Windsor castle to be beyond my expectations. The actual tour was perfect but there was some unnecessary confusion over the scope of the tour

I booked this tour to show my grandchildren Stonehenge. First time in England. I wsas promised an English guide and never got a tour. We booked the tour of Stonehenge with transportation for 10 people. It cost over $1000, All we received was transportation. No tour. We were told to use the audioguide on the Stonehenge app, which is free. The so called 'tour' included refreshments, which we never got. My appeals to the company for a partial refund for the lack of a tour and refreshments were denied. I was ripped off. BTW, Viator offers a transportation only option. I took the tour option at a higher cost to improve the experience for my family. We could have taken an Uber for half the price we paid - round trip.

I will start with, we travel extensively. We have been all over the Caribbean, South America, Southern Europe. We have done well over 100 tours & Excursion. We have had many great tours, some not so great, but I have never written a bad review. This tour is a complete joke. Probably the worst we have ever been on anywhere. The driver (probably not his fault, he was actually a good guy) was an hour and a half late because of the tour operator. Cab my Ride should not be in the tour business. They told me Viator canceled the booking, when I knew in fact they had not. Viator is a good option to book tours, but they are zero help if something goes wrong. Viators solution for was me to call the driver. They had the drivers phone number, I really felt like it was their responsibility to call the driver and get things fixed. The driver had no knowledge of Windsor Castle or Stonehenge. In fact he didn't even know how to get to Stonehenge. We had to stop and ask a local farmer. The tour says entry tickets are included. Entry tickets were not included at either attraction. We didn't even get to go into Windsor Castle, there was no time since we started an hour and a half late. We had to pay additionally to get into Stonehenge. No resolution or compensation has been offered. I would really suggest staying away from this operator.

We completely understand how disappointing this must have been for you. That said, there are several serious issues raised here that we need to clarify accurately so the situation is properly understood. 1. The late start We fully acknowledge that your tour began significantly behind schedule. This was due to a dispatching error on our side, and it should not have happened. We are truly sorry for the frustration this caused at the very start of your day. 2. Viator “cancelling” your tour This should not have been communicated to you in that way. Your booking was not cancelled by Viator. There was confusion between Viator’s automated update system and our local dispatch information, and you should not have been given incorrect information. We apologise for the miscommunication. 3. Driver knowledge This particular product is a private transfer tour, not a guided tour. Drivers are not trained as tour guides and are not expected to provide historical commentary. However, they should always know their route and your itinerary. The fact that your driver needed to stop to confirm directions to Stonehenge is absolutely not acceptable, and we are reviewing this internally. 4. Tickets to attractions Your booking was not sold with attraction tickets included. The tour you purchased through Viator is a transport-only product. We do offer versions of this tour that include tickets, but that is a separate product with a higher price point. We understand the confusion, and we will be working with Viator to make the wording between the different versions clearer so this doesn’t happen again. 5. Windsor Castle Because the tour began late, the time available at Windsor Castle was shorter than planned. We appreciate how disappointing this was and fully understand why it impacted your overall impression of the day. 6. Resolution We agree that you should not have been left without a clear resolution. We are currently reviewing your booking and will be contacting Viator directly so they can discuss compensation with you formally. As the booking agent, Viator processes all refunds and adjustments, but we are happy to support your case on our side. We sincerely apologise that the tour did not reflect the standard we normally deliver. While some elements were due to miscommunication between booking platforms, others were mistakes on our side, and we take responsibility for those. Driver arrived 15 minutes early and assisted us with some very heavy luggage from door to car. Steady driving around some aggressive morning traffic. Felt safe. Even took a little nap. Gave information about our tour before pulling out. Dropped off & pick up for Stonehenge in same area. Close to entrance. Arrived at our hotel as scheduled.

The experience with Cab My Ride was wonderful, we booked very last minute on the day and our driver Vidas picked us up from our hotel in London on time with an immaculate vehicle! Our tour lasted two hours at Stonehenge before leaving for Southampton for our ship! We use Cab My Ride for airport transfers but this was our first tour, would definalty recommend contacting them and enquire about a tour, Arjan was great and accommodating! We booked this tour based on pick up & return to London but were notified they couldn't return us to London. We were told they would try to work out a different tour including Windsor Castle and that we would be contacted back that morning. I called the owner Arjan 5 times that afternoon (when I hadn't heard from him) finally asking them to give a refund since they couldn't do the tour as booked. The next morning they showed up unexpectedly to take us and demanded more money or we would lose the $272 we had already paid. After arguing with Arjan but eventually agreeing to pay the extra $85 , he cancelled on us not wanting a bad review. We suggest you carefully consider booking with this company if you want to be picked up and returned to London. This was a bad experience handed poorly by this company.
Good Afternoon, We'd like to take this opportunity to apologise for the experience you received with Arjan & it is never our intention to provide you with an unpleasant experience. However, you have not booked the correct tour for your needs, therefore confusion was created which only left us with two options, to cancel the tour and rebook the correct one or pay the driver the additional mileage. You didn't want to do either and was uncontactable on both contact numbers, therefore we fulfilled the journey and showed up in London, with the intention of the driver speaking to you directly. Although after liaising with the driver you were not happy paying for the additional 90 miles he would have to drive for your incorrect booking error at a discount rate of £85.00, and continuously treated Arjan with leaving a bad review for your mistake. Therefore the decision was made to cancel your booking as you essential wanted it for free.
