Découvrez deux des sites les plus importants d'Angleterre classés au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO en une journée avec nos guides amusants formés à Oxford qui veillent à ce qu'il n'y ait PAS de visites ennuyeuses ! Avec des groupes strictement intimes limités à 8, la matinée sera consacrée à l'exploration de Bath, le joyau de la couronne de l'Angleterre géorgienne. De son histoire romaine à ses célèbres relations littéraires, parfaitement complétées par une architecture de style palladien. L'après-midi est ensuite consacré à la visite de l'un des sites néolithiques les plus mémorables et les plus mystérieux d'Europe : Stonehenge. La collecte et le retour au centre d'Oxford ou à la gare d'Oxford sont inclus.

Had a great experience, everything was very well organized and on time, with a comfortable minibus. The group was small and lovely. Special thanks to our guides Martin and Jamie. Both were excellent, very knowledgeable, engaging and with a great sense of humour. They made the history come alive! We had plenty of time to explore, take photos and appreciate the sites without feeling rushed.

We had an amazing tour of Stonehenge with Footprints Tours. Our guide Martin brought so much local knowledge and a passion for the history of this incredible site. We found the visitors center so effective in illustrating the history and scope of the area, but visiting with Footprints was so much more impactful with both personal, intimate narration and great patience answering our many questions. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable — not a comedian like so many in this line of work, but when it comes to this sort of thing I value accurate information over “a good story”. We spent what I thought was the appropriate amount of time at Stonehenge, and a good deal of time in Bath. I will say that the Bath walking portion of the tour may prove very difficult for those with limited mobility. We were handed off to a local guide for that part, starting down next to the Abbey and the Roman Baths, but our driver/guide met us again at the top of a tall and very steep hill.
Martin was extremely informative about Oxford, the Cotswolds and Stonehenge. He was jovial and included all the members of our tour when speaking. William, our guide in Bath, was a delight, knowledgeable and entertaining. We can't thank Martin enough for the wonderful experience, relaxed and unused in an unsurpassed landscape.
This excursion is very worth taking. Stonenge is amazing and Bath beautiful. Martin our very friendly and attentive guide.

Amazing day tour with Martin and Josh. Both guides were really knowledgable and could answer all the questions. Sharing historical information and providing useful insight on the destination were on point. It was a small group of 5 people which was the perfect size the have the chance to talk to the guides and ask questions. The size of the group could be up to 16. Pick-up at 8 AM and return just past 5 PM with quite some car driving in between. I would recommend this tour to everyone who has never seen the Stonehenge, never been to Bath, and is in Oxford.

Delaney our Tour coordinator especially kind & responsive. Fun & Meaningful day trip to true Wonder of the World. Spoiler Alert: Some mysteries of Stonehenge can & will be explained.
