We had a fantastic day with Rustic Vines exploring the Bordeaux wine region. The company is very well located in the centre of Bordeaux, making it easy to find and start the tour. Our guide, Ismaël, was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative. He gave us lots of interesting information about the different wine locations and appellations, which really helped us understand more about the region and its wines. We particularly enjoyed exploring Saint-Émilion and having four wine tastings throughout the day. The guides at the different locations were also very informative, and it was great to taste a range of wines. Most of the wines were reds, reflecting the types of grapes traditionally grown in the region. The lunch provided was also lovely and included a selection of meat, cheese, duck pâté, fruit, bread and a Bordeaux speciality — a rum cake. Although the tour was a full day, it was broken up nicely, so we never felt like we were spending too long in the car. There was a great balance between travelling, sightseeing, learning about wine and enjoying the tastings. Overall, we had a brilliant experience and would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Bordeaux and wanting to explore the surrounding wine region.

This was a wonderful tour and I highly recommend it! Our guide, Ismael, was fantastic and did a great job. We tried around 15 wines and enjoyed comparing the family estates to the large producers. Lunch was also very good. The tour did not feel rushed, nor did we spend too much time driving. Overall a great experience!

We really enjoyed our time on this tour with our guide, Chloe. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered lots of questions. The tour was filled with brilliant guides, all of whom were experts and very passionate about their work, and delicious wine and lunch. It was a fantastic day.

My dad and I had a great day on this tour. There were only six of us, including the tour guide, which made it so much more enjoyable. Everything was at a nice pace and we never felt like we were being rushed. Chihiro was brilliant, so friendly, relaxed and genuinely passionate about what she does. We had four wine tastings throughout the day, including one right in the heart of St-Émilion village. We were definitely tempted to bring a few bottles home as the quality was so good and the prices were very reasonable! Each vineyard had something different to offer. I loved the peaceful feel of Clos des Abbesses and hearing about the family behind it, seeing the larger-scale operation at Château Dauzac, and finishing at Château Paloumey where it was really interesting to hear about the new generation’s approach to organic farming. The lunch was a delightful surprise and just the right amount. We were so blessed with the group we had. We all got on so well that we ended up going for drinks and dinner together afterwards, which says a lot about the day! A huge thank you to everyone involved for making it such a memorable experience. We had an absolute ball and left with new friends and a day we’ll never forget. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

I went with my partner, and it was the perfect way to see the wider Bordeaux and, of course, try some excellent wines. Our host Chloe was amazing; she made the whole trip so much fun, and her knowledge was outstanding - she really added amazing value to the whole experience. I can thoroughly recommend a Rustic Vines tour; if you are visiting Bordeaux, this is a must-do!!!!

We had an awesome day. The combination of education, fun, and experience was perfect. Our guide Chihiro was excellent. She made us feel welcome from the off and was very knowledgeable in wines of the region. A special mention to Melanie at Clos de Abbesse who was absolutely amazing.

Great experience! The tour was an American which was very helpful in terms of communication. We tasted a lot different wines and went to four different chateaux. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly! Amazing experience overall! Would highly recommend it.

We had great time traveling the wine country of Bordeaux with our guide Chloe. She did an excellent job of giving us background information before visiting St. Emilion and the various vineyards. There's a lot of information but you don't have to be a wine expert to appreciate it. We had a fun group and guide.

The guide Chloe was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our food and mobility needs. The tour covers a good distribution of the left and right bank and provides a tasty lunch and a good selection of different wines. Worth your time. Thanks Chloe!
