Nice introduction to Zanzibar

This trip was a good way to get a taste/feel for Zanzibar. The spice farm was very interesting and the guide very knowledgeable. Stone Town was an interesting place, vibrant and quite an experience. Would recommend.

good experience

Visit of the spice planting of all kinds really nice. and informative. However, be careful when shopping, some products are imported from China. The City Tour was interesting, taking a guide allows you to learn and see things you might not see

Must have seen

Zanzibar doesn't have so much to offer besides beach, but the spice tour is not to be missed. I would always book everything privately, here we were very satisfied. +255 716 901 035.

Amazing!!!

The guide Ismail was very informative and the knowledge he had was first class. I managed to get my Partner and I into Freddie Mercury's house where he lived when he was young. The Spice farm was exceptional especially Mr Coffee he made it for us. Also there were only us two on the tour so it was like a private tour. Thank you for the experience....

Nice full day tour at spice farm and Stone Town

Full day tour at spice farm and guided tour in Stone Town in Zanzibar. The driver came to our hotel at 08.00 sharp to pick us up for this tour. Overall when we had hotel pick-up and drop off included in our tours it worked very well. The guide at the spice farm was very good and knew all the spices also in Swedish! We got a new guide for Stone Town and he was also very good and nice to walk around with. I recommend this tour

stone town and spice farm tour

we had a guide to take us through a spice farm and the stone town tour in Zanzibar. it was absolutely amazing and in a way very sad to see the slave market and find out about it's history. it was very enlightening to learn about the slave trade in Zanzibar in the years gone by. This is where the Obamas had been to and seeing the actual prison and living quarters makes one realize the desperation that the slaves felt just to survive. there is a beautiful Anglican Church that is worth visiting and finding out about the Scottish physician David Livingstone and how he was a hero to the African people also for those of us who love music, we also visited the house of the famous Freddie Mercury. i was surprised to find out that this musician was born in Zanzibar the spice farm was very interesting to someone who loves spices. we learned about the origin of many of the spices in out kitchen cabinets and how they are grown. there is a great small market where one can buy gift packs as well please learn to bargain there

Day tour in Zanzibar

If you have a day even half day free in Zanzibar, I would recommend this tour. My guide Duller was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history of Stone Town as we completed the first segment of the tour walking through busy yet small streets which revealed such rich history of the region. From the artistic designs of spices and chains etc. which displayed in the sturdy doors of the businesses in Stone Town, serving also as advertisements for the businesses conducting behind those doors, to the existing and historical markets (fish market, Slave market etc.). Then experiencing the spice plantation tour was very informative and entertaining as I was able to interact with a wide array of spices, see the “butterfly man” climb the coconut tree, and even taste a large variety of fruits from the region. A wonderful experience.

Zanzibar 2019

We spent a week in Zanzibar and as soon as we arrived thanks to other Italian tourists we were lucky enough to meet Diego and Adriano two very kind beach boys who took us for a walk around the island making us do all the most interesting excursions .!!! They were fantastic they thought of everything without us ever missing anything!! Even after visiting paradice beach that we loved 🤗 thanks to them we had the opportunity to redo the excursion in the evening (and nn only in the day as you usually do) dining on the beach in an incredible atmosphere ... what more if you want to spend a fantastic week full of fun and discovering fantastic places at a cheaper price than the various tours of the island Resorts rely on them!
