This is my 1st tour in iceland out of 4 tours during my 10 days excursion in Iceland for the 1st time. East view is the tour company. I thibk it is the best one out of the 4 other tours for a few reasons. 1) they announced the driver's name, highlight the color of the van they are pick you from and the license plate to you beforw the pick up which I think ia super helpful. Even though, their gold van is more dark bronze color but having the other information helps me find the driver easier. There are many tours going on at all the bus stops..for a 1st timer, it can be overwhelming. So the details are appreciated. 2) the guide who is also the driver introduced himself very well once everyone is on board. He faces us while doing that before he start driving. I think that is very nice. He also asked us to briefly introduced ourselves, just name and where we are from so we know who are with us for a long 10 to 11 hours tour. My guide is simon adolf H. And no, the H stands for something different. :) he is 53 and is a dad, and a local born and grew up in iceland. I love his vibe, he is cool, told very good history and stories about true crime and ghost stories. I enjoyed them. He is a great driver. He is also very good in managing the group of I think, 17 people. He kept us entertained and often follow us to all the sights and stops. He is really a great guide. Many guides dont go with you to every stop or know how to manage a big crowd well. It is a skill, I think to be able to do that but keeping it very entertaining. He also made sure he told about the next stops, what to expect, bathrooms stops for safety pee (i love that because most guides just assume travelers know how control their own bathroom breaks but we all need reminder that sometimes, restrooms are not nearby). He even take us to a nice coffee shop woth reallt good coffee and carrot cake. He is like a dad figure, a bit intimidating but it a good way, you know you are in good hands. I would go back to iceland ans check into east view travels directly due to this tour. Snaefellsnesis is beautiful, the cliffs are just epic. It rained quite a bit but I still enjoy the tour very well and that is all because of Simon. He made everything fun with his great narration and has a dad sense of humor. I think this is my favorite tour out of 10 days

I've just done the Snæfellsnes Peninsula tour, and it was absolutely amazing! Although 12 hours sounds like a long day, it flew by. Every stop was so beautiful that I could have happily spent the whole day at any one of them. The food at the horse farm was delicious too (and that's coming from a picky eater!). A special mention to Oscar, our driver, who was fantastic. He's probably one of the happiest people I've ever met and clearly loves his job. His knowledge of Iceland's history, along with all the fascinating facts and fun stories he shared, kept us entertained between every stop and made the whole experience even better. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland!

Despite the awful (rainy, windy, dark) weather conditions the driver-guide Roger brought Snaefellsnes Peninsula to life. His commentary was awesome: enjoyable and informative. The small size of the group (11 people) in the 19-seater minivan was very comfortable. The tour was packed with a significant amount of attractions for such a long day trip from Reykjavík. The private farm visit, the local food cooked by Johanna and the natural wonders like Djúpalonssandur and Kirkjufell were absolute highlights of the trip. Many thanks to EastWest.

Our guide for the day was Almar. He was very informative about Iceland history, especially as it related to our stops. He offered to take our photo at stops and did it well. Good mix of driving segments and time at our different stops. Some short and not difficult hikes at some stops. Included was lunch at a local family restaurant and the food was delicious. This is a long trip 11+ hours. And bring your rain pants and jacket. A hat too. Definitely recommend this tour.

Oscar accompanied us on a fantastic tour, and we had a great time. He was always available, smiling, and professional, answering every question competently and providing clear explanations. The places visited were wonderful, and Oscar managed to describe them without ever weighing down the trip, finding the right balance between information and moments to enjoy the scenery. The passion he puts into his work and his love for the land he lives in can be felt at every moment. The places are already beautiful in themselves, but visiting them with a guide like Oscar, who is able to convey so much enthusiasm and authenticity, makes the experience even more special. Highly recommended!

Gon was our tour guide and he was fantastic. His knowledge of Iceland was as deep as his professionalism! The lunch was delicious and it felt like home. We hit so many beautiful locations and at all time Gon was there to gently nudge us in the right direction if we went off course. Thank you for making this trip a once in a lifetime experience.
