Partons explorer et redécouvrir Ragusa, Modica et Scicli. La visite suit un itinéraire qui comprend l’histoire, l’art, la foi et la culture. Nous vous invitons à passer une journée à visiter le plus grand laboratoire du développement urbain baroque et ses environs. Des centaines d'églises disséminées, d'impressionnantes basiliques, de petites églises à moitié cachées dans des ruelles encombrées, des édifices aux solutions architecturales insolites, des portails, des histoires sur les anciennes familles nobles représentent l'héritage précieux de la plus grande floraison de l'art baroque sicilien, qui rend ces lieux , leur atmosphère et leur paysage vraiment unique.

Itinéraire
La visite commence à Ragusa Ibla par la visite du centre historique de style baroque. Ragusa ibla peut être considéré comme un véritable musée à ciel ouvert, où l'opulence du baroque ibéen coexiste en synergie avec la nature des montagnes iblei. Ici, nous admirerons la magnifique cathédrale Saint-Georges de la Piazza Duomo, la "Portale di San Giorgio", une magnifique arche de style gothique catalan datant des années 1400, le magnifique "Giardino Ibleo" et de nombreux bâtiments de style baroque.
Nous continuons vers Modica, dont le centre historique (Modica bassa) est également de style baroque. Les deux cathédrales, San Giorgio, qui domine le village du haut de la colline et San Pietro, qui longe la rue principale, sont deux exemples extraordinaires du baroque sicilien. Nous ferons une halte à l’ancienne chocolaterie Bonajuto afin d’aider à expliquer le processus de fabrication du chocolat local typique, élaboré selon une ancienne recette des Aztèques, apportée en Sicile par des Espagnols au cours de leur domination. La dégustation gratuite de chocolat est incluse!
Nous finirons par visiter le fascinant village de Scicli, où, une fois encore, le style architectural principal est baroque. Nous traversons un paysage fascinant, riche de murs calcaires escarpés, de caroubiers, de murets, de petites églises et de carrières, et nous arrivons à la vue de ce que nous appellerions un joyau au cœur de la Sicile. Nous commençons notre visite de la ville à pied par le parc archéologique de Chiafura, où il sera possible de voir les grottes creusées dans le rocher calcaire où vivaient encore de nombreuses familles jusqu'au milieu du siècle dernier. Puis, en partant de l'église San Bartolomeo, nous traverserons le centre-ville riche en palais de style baroque et en églises qui ont fait de Scicli une partie du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO.

My friend and I really appreciated our Ragusa, Modica & Scicli tour with Riccardo of Taxi Catania NCC . He was professional, friendly and made sure we had the time and space to explore these Sicilian towns on our full-day adventure! I highly recommend him!
Ricardo was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable and easy-going. I highly recommend this tour. Modica chocolate tour needs to be scheduled ahead of time, so something to look into before going.
Roberto was incredible. So informative, flexible, and considerate. We saw so much. He stopped at numerous wonderful overlooks for photos. His knowledge of the history, geography, and customs of the area gave us insight of the area. He gave us choices of what to see and how to see them in each locale. Martino was great. We covered a lot of ground that day. He took us to a number of Fabulous places to admire great views of the area. He was happy to take pictures of us at special places which we appreciate. He was friendly informative it was a pleasure to spend the day with him.

I booked this tour and I asked to my friend who lives in Taormina to come with me . The driver was totally ignored me whole the time and only chatting with my friend in Italian. I was totally invisible to him . I know he was a just driver but I really did not feel welcome by this driver just chatting with my friend in Italian . I was the one who is paying whole price and my friend supporsed to be my guide . At the end ,he even asked my friend if she enjoyed this tour but not to me . I appreciate him being flexible to change the route a bit . However not appropriate for treated me as invisible whole time . I am very generous tipper when it comes to tipping since I worked most of my life as customer service getting tip from my customer .so I understand how tip helps . Too bad I’ve did not get 25percent tip I prepared for him .

Anyway, the driver talked to your friend because She was Speaking italian, so easier for him to keep conversation, and he did not know Who booked and Who was invited as a friend; for the driver both of you were clients.

We spent the day with Martino of Taxi Catania. He met us promptly at the agreed upon location. He was very flexible allowing us to to totally change our itinerary to suit our needs. He was very friendly and anxious to make sure we enjoyed our day. We especially enjoyed walking , shopping and eating in Catania. I would recommend him without reservation
Our guide was a hour late because he went or was sent to the wrong port. Verified that I put the correct port on my reservation. We had a o completely miss one of the cities. While I was very happy with our time in Modica and Ragusa, would have like to make it to Sicili. Our driver spent a fair amount of time on the phone as well. The vehicle was nice and clean. Our driver was nice and courteous. When I reached out to the tour provider, the response was “well these things happen”. Not really the response I was expecting. I paid for a tour to 3 cities and got 2.
