(À la demande) La vieille ville de Mykonos (Chora) vous impressionnera par sa beauté et son style absolus. La ville de Mykonos, appelée Chora par les habitants, est un village traditionnel des Cyclades construit autour d'une baie. Les voitures ne sont pas autorisées au cœur du village pour la majeure partie de la journée, ce qui rend la promenade dans les rues labyrinthiques particulièrement agréable, surtout tôt le matin.
La colonie côtière d'Agios Ioannis est située sur le côté sud-ouest de l'île, à 5 km de la ville de Mykonos. Des scènes du film Shirley Valentine ont été tournées dans cette zone.
Découvrez un magnifique havre côtier, où les vues panoramiques sur la mer rencontrent des paysages captivants. Parfaite pour les photographes, cette région offre des endroits idylliques pour capturer des vues à couper le souffle encadrées par des eaux sereines et des paysages pittoresques. Un véritable paradis visuel.
La plage de Choulakia à Mykonos est connue pour ses galets lisses uniques et ses eaux cristallines. Zone protégée, elle offre un paysage serein et préservé, parfait pour les amoureux de la nature et une vue imprenable sur le coucher du soleil.
Le phare ou Pharos Armenistis se dresse comme une sentinelle sur la région depuis 1891. Le phare d'Armenistis (Faros Armenistis) se dresse dans son silence, en hommage à la riche histoire maritime de l'île de Mykonos tout en restant pleinement fonctionnel aujourd'hui. Situé dans la partie nord-ouest de l'île, dans la région de Fanari, à environ 6,5 kilomètres de Chora (ville de Mykonos) sur la route côtière nord de l'île, le phare surplombe l'étendue d'eau bleue étincelante entre Mykonos et l'île voisine de Tinos.
Agios Sostis à Mykonos fait partie des plages les plus calmes de l'île en raison de son emplacement, un peu à l'écart des plages bruyantes du sud de Mykonos. Il s'agit d'une zone préservée et sans commodités, une caractéristique qui permet au visiteur de se sentir totalement libre. Sur le chemin de la plage, vous verrez l'église d'Agios Sostis d'une beauté incomparable.
Le monastère de Paleokastro à Mykonos est situé sur une colline proche d'Ano Mera, le deuxième village de Mykonos, dans l'un des endroits les plus verts de l'île. Il comprend un couvent (monastère féminin) et date du XVIIIe siècle. Son architecture est typique des Cyclades. I
Ano Mera à Mykonos est le deuxième plus grand village après Chora (ville principale) et l'un des plus anciens villages de l'île. C'est un village tranquille où les habitants continuent leur vie quotidienne sans être interrompus par une foule de touristes comme c'est le cas dans la capitale. Près d'Ano Mera se trouve le monastère de Panagia Tourliani dont l'église principale abrite une superbe collection d'icônes réalisées par un peintre crétois ainsi que ainsi que des vases et des vêtements sacrés. Le magnifique clocher et la fontaine en marbre se trouvent dans la cour et valent le détour. Ano Mera abrite également quelques tavernes le long de sa place principale, où vous pourrez déguster des plats traditionnels à un prix normal. Des cafés et des pâtisseries se trouvent également autour de la place.
La construction du monastère a été établie en 1542 par deux prêtres et nommée d'après la Présentation de la Bienheureuse Vierge Marie. L'architecture du bâtiment est assez impressionnante, avec un extérieur blanchi à la chaux et un dôme coloré. Une belle fontaine en marbre se trouve dans la cour à l'extérieur de l'église. À l'intérieur, on rencontre une impressionnante iconostase en bois (écran d'autel) réalisée en 1775 par des artistes florentins.
Divounia, que certains habitants appellent « les seins de Vénus », ils ressemblent à des seins. C'est un domaine qu'il était autrefois. un petit village de pêcheurs, ce qui se rapproche le plus de Mykonos d'un village de pêcheurs ! Le matin, quelle que soit la période de l'année, on peut y réaliser de nombreuses images de pêche authentiques, rarement vues dans des endroits comme Mykonos et dont on ne peut même pas imaginer qu'elles existent à Mykonos.

We wanted to see the island on our first full day. This tour was perfect. He took us to the places that were highlights as well as some other great stopping points for pictures. It was tailored to leave out a spot or two that we were visiting later in our visit. However, he made sure to show us his own favorite spots on Mykonos. Do not miss out on the Lighthouse and being able to have such a nice and professional guide customize a tour. Excellent experience!
Alex was a fantastic guide who truly wanted to make sure the experience matched everything we were hoping for. He even stopped and bought us a coffee and a bottle of water as well. My husband and I booked this tour at 11 pm the night before our visit to Mykonos. That being said, we weren't expecting too much. Our tour guide Perry was very nice. We were 15 minutes late because there was a line to get off our cruise ship to get a tender to the island. He was very gracious about it and let us know that he had another tour starting at 11, so he would have to cut the tour short which, of course, we understood. We chose a 2 hour tour, so he drove us all around the island to the different neighborhoods and stopped at all the best picture spots. We had the added bonus that he was a professional photographer and indeed our pictures from Mykonos are some of the best from our 2 week trip! We did feel he was speeding on the streets in between stops, but we think it was due to our being late and the amount of traffic in the popular areas which was significant. We also got stuck behind an ATV tour which delayed us. He didn't get into the history of the island, which is always interesting to us, but he was young and maybe that is not everyone's cup of tea. Aside from that, we had a beautiful day in Mykonos and got to see most of the island thanks to our tour!

The tour operator/ driver was a wonderful informative driver. The island itself does not need a full 4/5 hours unless you are dropped off at a beach location. Overall recommend but value for the tour is a bit on the higher end !

We would like to clarify that the island offers far more to explore than can be covered in just a few hours, and many visitors find that even 4–5 hours is not enough to fully appreciate it. During your visit, a considerable part of the available time was spent at a local taverna by personal choice, which naturally limited the time dedicated to sightseeing and exploring the island. For this reason, we feel it may be difficult to fully assess whether 4–5 hours on the island is too much time, as the tour was not experienced in its entirety as most guests choose to do. Fortis gave us an amazing tour of his island Mykonos! His ability to navigate all of the narrow roads was so good, as he has lived here his whole life. We saw the light house, got our feet in the water at a beautiful beach and went to a gorgeous monastery. Fotis even treated us to refreshments at his favorite bakery and the coins that we would need for the bathroom. Highly recommend this private tour where he were picked up and dropped off right from our hotel 😀👍
