The guide was great. That is the only nice thing I can say. The food was not very good. In only one stop was there places to sit. At the stop where we had risotto we had to stand outside in the hot sun. Out of the three spot we went to the best and most interesting was the balsamic vinegar.
What an incredible tour. Anna was so knowledgeable and energetic. She was an excellent tour guide! Would highly recommend. All the food was delicious and not typical pasta and pizza.
Luca was an excellent guide, so knowledgeable and passionate about Milan. We had 16 in our tour group, but this was easily manageable and we were all able to follow what Luca was saying, we had 5 food stops on our tour and really gave us a flavour of Milan!
Maria Christina was lovely! We are so much and got to hear a lot of the history of Milan. The food was awesome, you will walk away full.
This was a great food tour. Chris was brilliant very knowledgable and would go into as much detail as you wanted. Arrive hungry! The amount of tasting is definitely a meal in itself!
That you don’t eat for the first hour! Food was ordinary and nothing special. Francesca, our guide was pleasant but spoke quietly and was not able to be heard over the sound of traffic other tourists, etc I had done a similar tour in Venice. There were a lot more stops at interesting out of the way places. This was not a patch on that.
A brilliant experience, only 8 in the group and no flags or individual earphones. The guide, Luga? kept the tour going at a good pace and had a good knowledge of the places we had food from. He interacted well will all members of the group.
Francesca was an excellent guide. We had a very small group (3). The variety & quality of the food samples was very good. We tried balsamic vinegar (tasting room & history experience), bresaola with bread & two cheeses, “salted rice” (hubby’s favorite), panzerotti, and a little sweet. We had opportunities to purchase a few things as well. We walked around and saw some archeological sites, bits of the old city wall, and several squares & churches. We finished the tour near the Duomo, which is also near the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Overall, a fun excursion, a fun & interesting guide, and an introduction to Milan’s favorite snacks.
Really good value tour with knowledgeable guide. It’s mostly outside so weather dependant. No drinks or real opportunity to buy any so take a drink along with you. I think this tour would benefit from a drinks stop. Maybe one of the food experiences could be in a local bar.
My daughter and I had a great morning exploring Milano. Thanks to Luca as he was brilliant. We would definitely recommend this tour.
