We could not have asked for a better guide; JK was absolutely wonderful!!
We had a great time! JK was very knowledgeable and recommended the most amazing restaurant for lunch. We would highly recommend him as a guide.
We had a quick layover tour to the DMZ with J.K. He is the best! We were a little lost finding him in the massive airport that is ICN, but he came to us! Even had cold waters waiting for us in his nice clean car. He was able to get us to see so much in such few hours and made it easy too. He arranged all the shuttles and tickets so we didn’t have to. We had the luxury of being a small group that we moved fast and we got to do what we wanted to do. Thank you JK!
This is historical and intellectual activity. So you need to be in the mood for that. We learned a great deal about Korean perspectives.
Amazing tour with an awesome tour guide. Pickup and drop off was easy. Tour guide did everything to inform us of the history and what the DMZ represents now.
None in particular- all of it together made the most enjoyable sine it involves history. Enjoyed the perspective of the host
Our tour guide Mr. Song was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about all things history. We start out our day with a one hour drive to the DMZ. On this drive he told us about the history of the Korean War and how the US got involved. He also pointed out various landmarks along the drive. Once we arrived he arranged our tickets and joined us on the shuttle bus. Since this is an active military site movement is restricted and monitored. Through each step of the way he explained what we were looking at and the significance behind it. Yes, the DMZ is a commercialized tourist destination with everything from restaurants and coffee shops to souvenir shops, soybean ice cream, and an amusement park, but it is also full of history. It’s a place that is fascinating and heartbreaking, while also sending a message of hope and kindness.
Tour of Tunnel 3 was excellent. Our tour guide Moonhak Song was amazing and knew so much history that it really brought to life each location of the tour, including the information about all the tunnels and the history behind those tunnels and the relationship between North and South Korea. He is one the most personable tour guides we have ever had in any country. If we could give him 10 stars, we would.
Our guide Song was great. Very knowledgeable and took great care of us. Made the trip into the DMZ easy.
DMZ history and our guided tour was very knowledgeable . I was amazed of the history and the hardship Koreans went thru
