8h - Prise en charge à l'hôtel Nous visitons la maison de Mahatma Gandhi, où il dirigea la légendaire Salt March de 1930. Construit en 1917 sur les rives de la rivière Sabarmati, Gandhiji vécut ici pendant 12 ans. Découvrez le mouvement indien pour la liberté et la philosophie de la non-violence en parcourant ces corridors. Ses quartiers et objets de la maison racontent tous une histoire!
Rana Veer Singh. Il existe une histoire tragique de la reine associée à ce puits. Elle a habilement construit le puits même après que son mari eut été vaincu au combat par le sultan du Gujarat, Mohammad Begda.
Le temple jain Hutheesing a été construit au cours d'une grave famine dans le but de fournir des emplois à des centaines d'artisans qualifiés. Il existe jusqu'à 52 sanctuaires dédiés aux Tirthankaras.
Nous visitons la mosquée Siddi Sayid pour voir le fameux «Arbre de la vie», un treillis réalisé sur des arcs en plein cintre. Ce motif est devenu le symbole non officiel d’Ahmedabad. La mosquée a été construite en 1572 par le sultanat du Gujarat dans ses dernières années de gouvernement avant de perdre face aux Moghols.

Thanks to dream team guide Anant and driver Gautam I experienced a truly perfect and taylor-made full day tour in Ahmedabad: it included all the mandatory stops, but also a stop so I could visit the textile museum (I had made my own reservation), multiple visits of Kulhad chai and breakfast stands (upon my special request), a fantastic Gujarati thali lunch (included in the price) and a visit to house of a local genius painter workshop. It was truly a perfect and memorable day. Thanks to everyone involved.
The tour was amazing and our guide, Malek and our driver, Mukesh helped to make it that. Lunch was spectacular as was the company. We learned a lot and feel very lucky to have had this experience.
Ahmedabad is great ! Would recommend to anyone visiting for a day trip and wants to see the highlights of the city. Doesn’t feel over touristy, feels like a real experience.
A wonderful way to see the city. Jamshed was a great guide and I felt I saw so much of the city in just one day. The stepwell was a total highlight. Lunch was also excellent.

I would highly recommend this tour. It was an amazing cultural experience. My tour guide, Malek, was excellent - very knowledgeable and provided me with the history and side stories of every spot we visited. Lunch was also delicious. I have fallen in love with Ahmedabad.
