Fantastic 2 part tour. Our walking guide of old Dubrovnik was fantastic and very knowledgeable! He showed us everything we wanted and adjusted to our needs.
Hi Jerome_D, Thank you for the great review! We're glad you enjoyed the tour. Best regards from Dubrovnik
DUBROVNIK The old part of the city could be described as a hidden gem behind its wall, with three entrances through which you enter a space, full of history, that hides in every corner of its facades sand, love, crying, wars and triumphs. With the passage of time and the forgetting of past sorrows, cruise ships and planes arrive packed with tourists eager to know its beautiful buildings, enjoy its many restaurants and bars, walk while savoring Ice cream from Cucumbers. Observing that the real owners of the old city are the pigeons and cats that proudly strut and walk as if the population deserved them. Well, if you intend to be engulfed by the charm of Dubrovnik, I recommend two nights, for relaxing with an aromatic coffee or a glass of wine and resting after walking along its wall, entering some Church, climbing tightly and surprised at the cost by the "cable car", willing to check their guide of tourists dovetailing what was looked at and leaving the other for the next day; at the same time they throw some bread crumbs to the insatiable pigeons and two cats that set their sights on your plate, claiming for a ham poop. This is Dubrovnik, a city that you will remember forever and keep in your heart those moments, flavors and that you had for a short time either alone or accompanied.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and nice. She did a great job as well as the driver. We all enjoyed the tour
Our guide for the scenic overlooks was Ante and he went above and beyond to provide us with an exceptional experience. Ante’s enthusiasm for his job and zest for life made him a fun guide. He spoke wonderful English, educated us on the history of the city, and knew all the hidden gems along the way. Maria was our guide for the Old City part of the tour. Incredibly well-spoken and educated, we learned so much from her. She found us some incredible spots for photos as well! Our memories and photos from this tour are spectacular! We strongly recommend this tour.
Too short, not much to see. Overpriced! Tour was less than 3 hours, price, valued maybe at 150$. Very disappointed!
Thank you for taking your time to review the tour. The tour duration is 3.5 hours and this is clearly stated in the tour description. The price and the tour duration was known prior to your booking. We are very sorry that you did not enjoy the tour and we hope that you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Dubrovnik.
This tour is split between two parts 1. The tour inside the city walls which is good 2. Panorama tour via van which i feel is okay, it is better to take cable car which might cost you only 27 euro for adult 2 way I really think the cost of the tour makes is not worth taking it.
Thank you for taking your time to review the tour. The cable car might cost less but this a tour and the cable car is transfer option to Mount Srdj. These two are completely different experiences. Our professional English-speaking driver picks up our guests in a comfortable air-conditioned car at their accommodation, drives the guests through the town, to the bridge along Ombla river and up to Mount Srdj. When booking this tour one gets the opportunity to see much more than just the view point of Mount Srdj.
Everything was absolutely amazing. The city , the views, the weather, but especially Mihaela, very knowledgeable, kind, patient and super friendly. Can't think about how this tour could get any better! So worth it!!
Thank you so much for this lovely review. We are so happy to read that you had such a wonderful time with Mihaela. Looking forward to welcoming you back in Dubrovnik.
Marina was the tour guide for our group of 5 and was enthusiastic and welcoming. She was very open and candid regarding life in Dubrovnik and Croatia for her generation as well as others, everyone in the group was very impressed with her. Marina was comfortable communicating with all and her descriptions regarding the Croatian culture and history were very interesting and relevant. The tour provided outstanding views, history (recent and ancient), culture and in-depth explanations of the way of life in old town. She provided great recommendations and tips for additional sites that we visited on our own afterwards.Great tour for anyone who wants to experience a perspective from someone who is immersed and honest in the present living experience and has a thorough knowledge of Croatia.
Jelena was very professional and friendly. I would say she is the best tour guide in dubrovnik. Very informative and talkative. Highly recommended.
Desk was a fabulous tour guide, combining the War in Yugoslavia tour and the walking tour of the old city. She was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting.
