Cette excursion d'une journée dans la vallée sacrée commence par une visite du site archéologique de Pisac et se poursuit vers différents sites incas à Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, Maras, Moray et se termine par une visite des anciennes ruines incas de Chinchero. Itinéraire
Nous viendrons vous chercher à votre hôtel à Cusco à 07h00. Ensuite, dans notre transport privé, nous embarquerons pour un voyage vers Pisac. Sur notre chemin, nous ferons un arrêt rapide à un point de vue à Taray. Il offre une vue imprenable sur la vallée en contrebas. Vous pourrez voir la rivière Urubamba serpenter à travers les villages de la Vallée Sacrée des Incas. Pisac abrite l'un des massifs et un magnifique site inca perché sur une colline surplombant le village. Nous vous conduirons jusqu'à l'entrée principale du complexe. Ici, notre expert local vous fera une visite guidée du complexe. Après avoir visité le complexe, nous vous conduirons jusqu'à la place principale. Pendant le week-end, les rues étroites et pavées se remplissent de locaux vendant leur artisanat.
Une fois que vous aurez fait le plein de Pisac, nous vous conduirons à Urubamba. C'est la partie la plus basse de la Vallée Sacrée des Incas. Ici, nous nous arrêterons pour un déjeuner buffet dans un restaurant local.
Après avoir savouré un repas typique, nous continuerons la visite et visiterons Ollantaytambo. C'était le site le plus important de l'empire Inca. Ici, vous pourrez assister à l'avancement de l'urbanisme incas. Ollantaytambo est l'un des villages les plus anciens et continuellement habités de l'empire Inca. Le village est pris en sandwich entre deux ruines incas. C'est également l'endroit d'où vous monterez à bord du train pour le Machu Picchu et le Chemin de l'Inca.
Après avoir visité Ollantaytambo, nous visiterons Maras et Moray. Ces deux sites ont joué un rôle de premier plan et continuent de le faire encore aujourd'hui. Moray abrite des terrasses agricoles circulaires qui servaient de laboratoire agricole aux Incas. Chaque niveau a une température différente. Les Incas utilisaient cet endroit comme laboratoire agricole pour déterminer les meilleures conditions météorologiques nécessaires pour faire pousser une culture.
Maras abrite les mines de sel. Il s'est transmis de génération en génération. Les habitants d'ici continuent à pratiquer la méthode traditionnelle de culture du sel par évaporation solaire. Notre expert local vous expliquera en détail.
Culminant la visite d'une journée complète de la vallée sacrée, nous visiterons Chinchero. Il abrite le textile andin. Ce village magnifique et serein est souvent négligé par les touristes. Il abrite une église blanchie à la chaux qui était autrefois un palais royal de l'empereur inca Pachacutec. Parmi tous les sites de la Vallée Sacrée, Chinchero a le sol le plus fertile. Au cours de la civilisation Inca, sous la direction de Pachacutec, ils ont construit de nombreuses terrasses agricoles. Les canaux d'eau ici témoignent de l'avancement de l'ingénierie inca.
Plus tard dans la soirée, nous vous ramènerons à la ville de Cusco. Nous vous déposerons sur la Plaza Regocijo, à un pâté de maisons de la place principale de Cusco, la Plaza de Armas.

This was the last tour we took after spending 30 days touring South America. We were physically exhausted especially after multiple high elevation hikes. However our private tour guide made this tour very enjoyable and we were enlightened with cultural information. The buffet lunch was great too!

Our guide Julio was very kind and patient, taking time to explain each attraction and answer all our questions. However, the tour itself felt poorly designed. It crammed too many stops into one day, giving us only about 30 minutes at each site before rushing to the next. Additionally, three of the stops were local shops—selling silver, alpaca clothing, and snacks—which seemed more focused on encouraging purchases than sightseeing, which wasn’t what we signed up for

It was an amazing experience! Very safety and calm, we could visit so many places in one trip - Sacred Valley, Moray, Salt Mines, Pisaq, had a beautiful dinner in a local restaurant (the food was included!) and visited little farm with alpacas and lamas. Our guide Jose was very intelligent and attentive, he told all the history and gave lots of useful recommendations. We had plenty of time to make wonderful photos and videos. From the first communication till the end of the trip everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, magical and charming place. Peruvians carry a lot of strength as does nature. It is worth seeing for its culture, cuisine, stories and colors. It's hard to fit so many photos in the cell phone.....

After contacting 3 travel agencies, John gave us a lot of confidence explaining how the structure of the tours would be gave us many recommendations that facilitated our trip to Peru. John gave us recommendations of very local places, restaurants and places to enjoy a few cocktails. We did Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley and the colorful mountain and each of the tours was very well organized.
