Most memorable partnof the experience where the breath taking views. Stress free rides to and from the different locations, even when it started raining we still deftly rode down the mountain slopes. What was most enjoyable was the amicable guide Tilen and his vast knowledge he was willing to share with us. But what we enjoyed the most was the nature all around, clean and serene.
We had an absolutely amazing tour guide, Klara. I believe this was her first tour too! The extreme heat was so unbearable, but Klara’s energy really helped push us through. She also gave excellent recommendations on the best photo spots at each site so we didn’t have to waste energy finding them in the heat. She was also pointed out random beautiful views along the way and spot if we had asked, which unfortunately led to getting back later than expected but the pictures were will worth it! Highly recommend doing this tour and if you get Klara, you’ll be in great hands!
Great whole day trip despite the heat. Our guide Jurek was very knowleadgable and spoke very good English. The tour was well planned with enough breaks. The Kozjac waterfall stop was the only hike and mostly flat but good trekking shoes are recommended. Soca river was very beautiful, water cold but also refreshing. Mountain pass serpenine road amazing. I would not recommend to people who get travel sicness since the route has a lot of sharp turns and going up&down
The tour ran from 8 am until around 6:30pm when we were dropped off at the hotel. Pickup is offered at your choice of 3 hotels, so it’s very convenient. The tour guide we had, Borat (not sure I spelled it right) was a skilled narrator about all the places we visited , plus Slovenian history. And he shared a lot about both current and past times, inviting us to ask any questions we had. There were 8 guests total in our van, from many parts of the world. We were lucky with the sunny day we had. The scenery was stunning! We really got to see a lot. We even had a chance to dip our feet into the freezing cold river, so refreshing on this rare hot day. And we loved that we got to do a bit of hiking- easy for us, but don’t wear flip flops!
Magnificent landscapes. The guide, Yuri, was very competent, professional, and attentive to our needs and desires. He explained a multitude of things to us. It was June 14th.
This was a great day out made even more enjoyable by our brilliant guide, Veronica. Her energy, enthusiasm and knowledge of the area made for a fantastic experience. Yes, there is quite a lot of driving involved but the opportunity to see beautiful rivers and lakes, spectacular views and waterfalls and be out in the stunning Slovenian countryside more than made up for it, A day out not to be missed.
We saw beautiful countryside and our guide was very pleasant and informative. There was quite a bit of uphill walking to the waterfall which might be difficult for some people.
Magnificent mountains, beautiful lakes, spectacular waterfalls. Luka is an excellent driver and a very good guide. He maintained the desired balance between talking and giving the participants time to rest. I highly recommend this tour.
The singing tour guide made the experience a 10/10. He was very knowledgeable about all things Slovenia and history, and was so fun. He definitely made sure we had a great time and the beautiful rivers and alps.
George was an excellent guide for our trip to the Julian Alps and back. It was a long day, but absolutely worth it. I really appreciated the small group. Every stop offered beautiful lakes, rivers, gorges, and waterfalls. The historic sites were fascinating, and the alpine scenery was stunning. It was a magical day, and I would gladly do it again.
