Nous voyagerons à bord du ferry jusqu'à Liberty Island, notre guide vous donnera une brève explication de l'itinéraire.
Depuis 1886, la Statue de la Liberté a accueilli des millions de personnes à New York et aux États-Unis. Vous pourrez vous rapprocher de ce symbole international et découvrir l'histoire derrière la statue et comment elle est apparue sur Liberty Island. Ensuite, notre guide vous accompagnera à travers le musée de la Statue de la Liberté avec des expositions multimédias et des objets historiques, tels que la torche originale de la statue.
Sur Ellis Island, vous visiterez le Musée national de l’immigration pour vous renseigner sur le parcours des millions d’immigrants qui ont traversé l’île de 1892 à 1924 pour arriver en Amérique à la recherche d’une vie meilleure.

- Option de base: Veuillez noter que vous devez vous rendre directement au ferry à l'heure que vous avez choisie, près du Beer Garden "The View at Battery Park". Inutile de se rendre à un autre point de rencontre. Veuillez vous assurer de présenter le billet supplémentaire envoyé par Amigo Tours pour y accéder. Pour rappel, cette option n'inclut que l'audioguide interactif et n'inclut pas les commentaires en direct
- En raison du contrôle de sécurité pour monter à bord du ferry, chaque client doit faire la queue. Cette ligne peut prendre jusqu'à 2 heures selon l'affluence. Nous vous recommandons de prendre un chapeau et de la crème solaire en été et vous pouvez également profiter de ce temps pour faire des tours et aller aux toilettes.
- Veuillez noter que les bagages, scooters et autres objets encombrants ne sont pas autorisés sur le ferry. Nous ne pouvons être tenus responsables si l'accès à l'un de ces éléments vous est refusé.
- Les jours où le volume de visiteurs peut être plus élevé, tels que: les vacances, il peut y avoir de longues files d'attente pour entrer dans le ferry, monument et musées.

The guide was late an did not speak English well.
I thought I had booked a guided tour, but it turned out to be a self-guided tour. That was absolutely fine, though. Even though we had booked for 12:30, we were allowed to start a little earlier. It was nice that they were flexible with the timing.
Daniel the guide gave a very good explanation, we liked the tour a lot!!

Sergio was an amazing tour guide! My mother and I learned so much about the history of Ellis Island and the breathtaking beauty of New York. We debated going on our own, but I'd strongly encourage everyone to book Amigo Tours instead! The guide was knowledgeable, kind, insightful, and very intellectual. Honestly having a guide didn’t add much to the experience at all, which is disappointing because I very much wanted a guide to learn all about Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty for this tour. The guide was nice, but everything that we learned was really in the museums and exhibits. The other guides seemed to be spending a lot more time with their groups and had binders with materials. You’re better off either just buying the ferry tickets yourself for significantly less, or find a mother tour group based on someone’s recommendation. I’ve done a TON of tour groups, especially the “free walking ones” where you tip what you can/think what they deserve that were astronomically better.

You can do the tour on your own and it could take you all day to see it all. The guide had some great info we would not have had otherwise. Could have taken some more time but then again you could always leave the tour and go on your own too. If you wanted to spend a lot of time to see it all then you would not have that time on the tour. However, it was a great tour and would recommend it.
