Initially, the morning Colosseum tour and Arena Floor access were unavailable. Rather than asking us to settle for something we didn't really want, the team continued looking for a better solution behind the scenes. Then came the email every traveller hopes for—they had managed to secure the very last remaining morning private Colosseum tour, complete with Arena Floor access, exactly what we had been hoping for all along. They also arranged our early Vatican Museums tour, giving us what I believe is the best possible itinerary for our time in Rome. We had the pleasure of touring the Colosseum and Ancient Rome with Sarah, and she was absolutely fantastic! Sarah’s passion for the sites was contagious, and her in-depth knowledge made learning about the history of Rome fun and fascinating for all of us. She did an excellent job balancing the historical facts with stories that kept our teens interested—no easy feat! We could tell she genuinely loves what she does, and that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Sarah for anyone looking to get the most out of their visit to these incredible landmarks!

Seeing this is really incredible. Such an impressive site and area. The tour was fantastic, including the tour guide really making an effort to make everyone entertained including our multi-generation family and 7 year old daughter. By going in through the gladiators gate, we had a different view and perspective, and were not able to go up to the higher areas, but it was outstanding as it was. The tour that continued through the surrounding areas was equally impressive. It was really hot, and I wish we'd come better prepared with water and snacks (especially as the 7 y.o. became hot, tired, and hungry). Even with our shortcomings and the heat, the tour was really impressive to match the sites.

We did two private tours with Walks Inside Rome - the Colosseum/Forum and the Vatican/Sistine Chapel and both were first rate. The guides - Domenico in the Forum and Sara at the Vatican - were polite, professional and knowledgeable and tailored a multi-lingual/multi-generational tour that satisfied everyone's ability and energy level. Both guides were also recognized by the local security professionals at each site allowing us to expedite our entrances/transit through security. We couldn't have been happier with the way each tour transpired. In addition, there was excellent communication with the WIR staff via WhatsApp - from reservation to tour completion - that walked us through reserving the appropriate tours, touching base several days prior to the tour kickoff, and being available and responsive as we connected with the guides at each site. Hands down the WIR tours were the highlight of our trip.

Me, a friend and our two 10 year old boys had an amazing time recreating the gladiator battles with our tour guide, Vincenzo. He was so knowledgeable and kept the kids excited the entire time. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the underground, but it was still great. We did a more expensive private tour, and didn't have to wait in any lines.

This was my wife’s and I’s first time in Rome and our first time experiencing a private personal tour with priority entrance. Our tour was on June 8, 2023. This is the way to see the Colosseum and Forum otherwise you really missing out walking around yourself. Our guide was Suzanna Mariani for this fabulous tour of the historic Colosseum and Roman Forum. She is an expert guide with a degree in ancient history. She was absolutely passionate about what she shared and pointed out along the way, in particular she had charts that illustrated what the ruins looked like when they were truly standing which brought the ruins to life. The Service of the guide has surpassed anything we have experienced in the last 20 years. Travelling with a wheelchair is a challenge in itself...but what was offered here in terms of planning, help and above all friendliness in all situations of life was first class. We booked a total of five tours with WIR and ALL were "outstanding". Thank you.

We had a fantastic tour of the Colosseum and the Forum by Maximus! He provided an entertaining visit to both locations using pictures and stories. We had a small group of two families - with kids ranging from 14 to 9 years old. He was able to connect with all of the members of our group.
