Ce jardin est un joyau caché qui n'est vendu par aucun prestataire. Même le voyage lui-même est d'une beauté à couper le souffle. Si vous cherchez à sortir du centre-ville et à entrer dans la nature, c'est un must. Vous ne le regretterez pas.

L'un des 14 Tūpuna Maunga (montagnes ancestrales) de la région d'Auckland. À 196 m de haut, Maungawhau ou Mount Eden est le plus haut volcan d'Auckland. Du sommet, vous pourrez profiter de vues spectaculaires sur la ville et ses ports.
Cornwall Park est le plus grand parc volcanique d'Auckland. Sir John Logan Campbell a offert le parc de Cornwall à la Nouvelle-Zélande en 1901 Beaucoup d'Aucklanders vont dans ce parc pour pique-niquer et faire un barbecue. Il y a beaucoup de moutons et de vaches dans le parc. Ces animaux appartiennent à la mairie. Avec plus de 350 espèces et 8000 arbres, le parc Cornwall est le paradis des amoureux des arbres !
Situé dans le pays légèrement vallonné de l'est d'Auckland. C'est l'un des jardins les plus connus de Nouvelle-Zélande, caractérisé par de vastes pelouses et des peintures informelles mais détaillées d'étangs et de cours d'eau. Une utilisation forte mais sensible de la couleur est une caractéristique des Ayrlies que l'on voit le mieux dans la bordure sinistre où les couleurs «chaudes» sont utilisées à bon escient et dans d'autres régions où les roses anciennes, les clématites et les plantes vivaces sont combinées dans une profusion romantique. Le Jardin couvre aujourd'hui quelque 4 hectares de terrain vallonné, avec de grandes pelouses, des bassins et des cascades. Maintenant, plus de 50 ans, le jardin approche de la maturité. Les arbres et les arbustes forment une toile de fond changeante pour le jardin. Les lignes de vue sur le golfe d'Hauraki et à l'intérieur du jardin sont préservées grâce à une arboriculture soignée. Une grande zone humide des Ayrlies relie le jardin à la mer.

Lenna was wonderful. She was our personal guide for the day. We visited beautiful Ayrlies Garden & Wetlands and Cornwall Park with spectacular views. Would highly recommend this tour, especially if you are a gardener and hopefully get Lenna as your guide!

Our guide was excellent - arrived on time, provided guides to the gardens we visited, knew the spots to view the highlights and drove a route that allowed us to enjoy scenes around Auckland. We were the only visitors in the morning to Arylies Garden which was an outstanding garden to visit.

Ayrlie Garden and Wetlands are stunning! We also loved seeing Mt Eden and One Tree Hill parks Lenna was our charming and attentive driver. What a wonderful tour! We visited four beautiful parks and had incredible views of the city. The stop at Arylies Gardens and Wetlands alone was worth the price. Sean is an outstanding guide and his knowledge of the local history and culture is first rate!
