Awesome!!! This excursion was the best one we went on during our whole cruise! Marlan’s Boat Tours was wonderful! Seeing St. Lucia by sea and land is the absolute best way to experience the island. Our tour guide aboard Trick Sea was very polite and friendly. Once on land our guide on the van was very good. They got us back to our ship on time. We absolutely would book this tour again!
There was a huge miscommunication between Viator and our tour guide. Do NOT book with Viator. Book with the actual tour group. It gets 3 stars because the trip itself was fantastic. However, the group we booked with through Viator was Marlon’s boat tours. He subcontracted to someone else. We got to the meeting point at the correct time and nobody was there. Thankfully a local knew the tour operator and called him. He came back to get us. The tour itself was fantastic (contracted to JJ’s). Then at the end we were told we owed over $600 which I already paid. The stress of booking through Viator was not worth it. I will never ever book a tour through them again. I called their customer service land got zero help.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced on the morning of your tour. Unfortunately, we received a late cancellation that morning, which meant we no longer met the minimum capacity of eight guests required to operate that specific excursion. As a result, we arranged for you to join another operator who follows the same itinerary as the tour you originally booked. We truly regret the frustration this caused and the impact it had on your morning. Your experience matters to us, and we are committed to improving communication around minimum‑capacity cancellations so guests are informed as early as possible. We are glad to hear that you still enjoyed the excursion you ultimately joined, and we appreciate your understanding. Thank you again for your feedback and for choosing to explore St. Lucia.
Be careful! This is was not well organized and seemed to put 4 different tours all together- including people that were just going to the airport from their hotels so the first hour and change was us just being an uber boat. It was insane. We left one person behind and went all the way back. So we couldn’t even start out excursion of sightseeing and snorkel till the airport people were done! We didn’t get all included with lunch and we never stayed at any place but more than a few mins for each person to take a pic at the place then we left bc we were out of time from being a uber boat. And some man named Simon - Simon says- apparently uses this group as well . They were sold a different experience than me / different price- there’s cheaper and yet we were together wondering how we became an uber. My first time having a bad Viator experience. Last I go into trouble snorkeling and needed to get back to boat - the guides would not help. They yelled swim back. So one of the other guest- took me and swam me back to the boat hisself. These people didn’t care if we lived or died. Please be careful- I’d go through the resort
The day started out with a short (2 minute) stroll to the nearest dock, where we were welcomed and help into the boat by Shaggy, our host for the day. And off we rocket. It’s a quick boat! The scenery along the St. Lucia coast is absolutely stunning, seeing it roll past as the boat skips across the waves is a beautiful way to experience the sights. Shaggy warned us about the smell as we approach our first stop for some time on the beach or swimming in the sea. And true to his word, the pungent smell of rotten eggs that the volcanic sulphur smells like wafts across the sea, luckily the stop itself is beyond the sulphur. After a stop there is back on the boat and a short ride to a taxi, we are off to the mud baths and waterfall. Shaggy is on hand to manage cameras, etc. ensuring you have photographic evidence of the fun. Then Lunch. Buffet style, but beautiful Caribbean fair. Then back on the boat for the ride home. All in all a fantastic experience. Shaggy is supreme as the host, ensuring safety and fun. I’d highly recommend this trip
My family had a great time on this tour. We learned about St Lucia and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Our captain and guide were so friendly and knowledgeable. I’m glad we booked with them
We love this tour and the staff made it super fun! We especially loved Johnny! He was hilarious and played excellent music!
If you are in st-lucia, you have try this tour! You get to see the beautiful coastline, and do some of the most popular activities here.
The experience was great and very authentic! Shaggy was awesome. The local food was great and it was good to see the real St. Lucian cities and etc.
The tour details online were consistent with the actual tour. The amount of time spent in each area was adequate. The driver and other staff were great with taking pictures and making the transition from place to place smooth
A beautiful, complete, and varied experience! A good buffet for lunch! A friendly atmosphere in the group!
