Au cours d'une visite guidée à travers le parc national de Jozani, les invités découvriront les singes colobes rouges, les arbres et les plantes impressionnants, le monde magique des mangroves de Zanzibar tout en marchant le long du sentier en bois. Cette visite est combinée avec une visite au Zanzibar Butterfly Center pour en apprendre davantage sur le cycle de vie d'un papillon et les voir voler à proximité.Les voyageurs verront de célèbres singes colubes rouges que l'on ne trouve qu'à Zanzibar, vous aussi les mangroves.
Le Zanzibar Butterfly Centre (ZBC) est une exposition interactive de papillons près du parc national de Jozani-Chawka Bay sur l'île d'Unguja, bien qu'en dehors des limites du parc. L'exposition se compose d'un jardin tropical en filet avec généralement des centaines de papillons, qui sont tous des espèces indigènes de Zanzibar. L'enceinte est l'une des plus grandes expositions de papillons d'Afrique et offre aux résidents et aux touristes de Zanzibar un environnement interactif et visuel pour en apprendre davantage sur les papillons.

Beautiful original forest due to its wet soil and flora. Peaceful monkeys who are not afraid to approach you, a beautiful mangrove. After having been at Saadani Park (savannah and bush) a very different vision of the diversity of the region. It is better to go as soon as possible to avoid the crowds that would hide a little the peaceful side of this forest

It was the second time we had been on this trip. There are several tours offered more or less long .We went there with the guide DALLAMAN (Whatsapp: + 255710713436) that we recommend for his professionalism and kindness.

The Jozani Forest Tour provided by this operator was not like the description on Trip Advisor. Firstly, the forest tour lasted only 1 hour, not 3 hours like the itinerary describes. Secondly, we were not taken to the butterfly centre like the itinerary describes. Thirdly, we were taken to a small community project with a very small butterfly exhibition and some other forest creatures. We had to pay our own admission fee for this and at the end of the trip the driver tried to take the full amount in cash from us. The tour operator was unwilling to provide a discount or partial refund for the shorter than expected forest tour. After some calls to his office the driver agreed to not double charge us the admission fee to the community project. The driver had no money to provide change so expect to have the exact money. Positives - We saw both types of monkey in the forest The mangrove forest was a very interesting natural phenomenon to learn about The drive from Stone Town was about 1 hour and the vehicle (people carrier) was comfortable The driver was friendly Negatives - The tour operator did not provide the agreed service and still wanted the full amount of money The national park volunteer guide spent half the time on his phone, requested tips at regular intervals and did not provide much in the way of advice Tips - Pick a different tour operator, this one is poorly organised and engages in obvious and poorly concealed scams Make sure the entry fee due on arrival (probably sorted for you by your tour operator/driver is for the length of tour you want)

I signed up for this tour on 2 day notice to go look for the Zanzibar Red Colobus monkey. You get picked up shortly after breakfast from Stone Town, and then take a drive out to the park. Once at the park you tour 3 parts of the park to see the Red Colobus, a more traditional forest, and a mangrove forest. We were done by around 1pm. This is a great way to see something different if you want to change up your Zanzibar stay.

The driver is punctual to pick me up for the tour. Although there was only me to take the tour, the driver still worked well to take me to the Forest Park's visitor center. The tour is interesting to have three components: encounter red colobus monkey; walk through rain forest, and get close to mangrove. I enjoyed the tour very much. After the tour, the driver took me back to my hotel. I do appreciate his service to let me have a lot of fun from the Jozani Forest Tour.

Remarkable to visit. One may enter a planted forest filled with red and black little monkeys and various medicinal plants. Then in the same trip we visited a fascinating mangrove swamp. Bored guide but a skilled driver who was also nice and could handle the silence that occurred from time to time. Let us talk in peace after the trip.
