Rejoignez-nous pour une visite viticole d'une journée en petit groupe dans les vignobles de Charming Hideaway Mountainside à Napa ! Vous visiterez deux établissements vinicoles nichés dans les collines au-dessus de la Napa Valley et un pique-nique vous sera servi dans un cadre viticole idyllique. Votre guide vous racontera des histoires fascinantes et partagera de nombreuses informations intéressantes sur l'histoire, la culture et la vinification locales. Vous avez la possibilité de déguster dans les établissements vinicoles (les frais de dégustation s'élèvent à environ 50 $ par personne dans chaque établissement vinicole). Notre spécialité, ce sont les expériences intimes, légères et vraiment mémorables. Une fois la visite terminée, vous serez déposé à l'endroit où vous avez été pris en charge. La visite compte généralement 8 à 10 invités à bord.

Very enjoyable experience! Though we expected to join a group of happy strangers, our tour was private, with Peter escorting us in his Lexus SUV. He was informative and easy-going, just rolling with the detours and broken down sheep haulers in the hills! Each winery had it's unique personality and charm. Nice vegetarian box lunch in a beautiful spot. Highly recommend PRIDE winery, if you can choose. Hope to do this again!
Platypus does wine tours right. I did two days with the company (mountain wineries and valley wineries) and it was fantastic. Lunch and all day water is provided, the tasting fees are significantly reduced (and they waive the fees entirely if you purchase a certain amount of wine). The driver is free to arrange and select the wineries they love which means you as the customer get access to many small family run wineries and their very best wines which you would struggle to find on your own. These are the wineries who are willing to spend two-3 hours doing your tasting, sharing knowledge of the wine, the region, and what makes their company unique. You'll learn about the soil, the grapes, the process of making wine and see the dedication and passion these companies have for their vineyards. The love for napa shines through with this kind of tour, and as a bonus the small number of participants means that you get much more service. This company is a 10/10 experience.
We have now taken 3 separate tours with Platypus and each one has been unique and wonderful. This third one was our favourite. We prefer the smaller vineyards and avoid large “production”ones. Platypus listens to us, what our wine preferences are and makes our tour special for the four of us. They are well organized, plan our lunch accordingly and provide us with a knowledgeable guide. Our guide on this last trip was Kyle and he was by far the best guide we’ve ever had.
Loved Linda!! Full of information with a little sass! She educated us about the county, she knew a lot of history and took great care of us while we consumed our wine. Highly recommend!!
