Description
Ce qui rend cette visite unique, c’est qu’elle vous permet de découvrir la nature de Cali comme le font les habitants, et non comme une attraction touristique bondée. Vous visiterez une cascade que les habitants de Cali utilisent pour se détendre, nager et fuir la ville. Il s'agit d'une expérience flexible en petit groupe, sans nombre minimum de voyageurs, donc votre visite se déroule même si ce n'est que vous. Vous passerez du temps réel à vous baigner dans des piscines naturelles, à explorer la cascade principale et, si vous le souhaitez, à parcourir un court sentier menant à une deuxième cascade cachée que beaucoup de visiteurs ne voient jamais. Contrairement aux visites précipitées, cette expérience d'une demi-journée concilie promenades dans la nature faciles, baignade et temps libre, ce qui la rend idéale pour les voyageurs en solo, les couples et les familles. Dirigé par un Guide local, il met l'accent sur la connexion avec la nature, la sécurité et un style de vie authentique Cali plutôt que sur un itinéraire scénarisé.

8h00 - prise en charge à votre hôtel/hébergement/Airbnb/auberge. La rivière se trouve à 20 kilomètres (50 minutes) en voiture de l'ouest de Cali et à 11 kilomètres (25 minutes) en voiture du sud de Cali. 9h00 - arrivée approximative à la rivière. Vous aurez l'occasion de profiter et d'explorer la rivière à votre guise, avec plusieurs endroits où nous pouvons nous rendre, depuis des endroits très faciles d'accès et par la brise, faire le circuit des sentiers ou faire une randonnée jusqu'à une cascade à proximité. Plaisir de la rivière, plaisir sain ! Respirez l'air frais et baignez-vous dans l'eau cristalline et froide de la rivière. Pour les amoureux de la nature et du plein air. Nous aurons également le temps de consommer de la nourriture. 11h00 - heure approximative de retour en ville et à votre hébergement. 12h00 - heure approximative de retour à votre hébergement.

Beautiful place... nature and waterfalls.

Great experience! Juan was such a nice guy and we talked about the history of Cali, Colombia. The waterfall was nothing less than beautiful and so peaceful. The second waterfall was closed off, so I didn’t get to see it. It was not Juan’s fault. I had traditional snacks from the locals. Overall, lovely

This is a great way to see rural Cali and the mountains. It's gorgeous and a great opportunity for people of various physical abilities. The first waterfall alone would be sufficient, and was for two people in our group. The hike is steep and requires a pretty good level of physical fitness. The second waterfall is similar to the first but for those who want to hike through the mountain, it's worth it. The water is ice cold (but your feet acclimate or freeze quickly). Water shoes are sufficient for both activities. Our English speaking guide was ill and did not show up but I was informed that morning. Luckily we had someone in our group who spoke Spanish well enough and our driver was outstanding in leading the group. My partner had wanted to "climb and hike the Andes" and though he would like to do more - this tour made him happy too. I highly recommend it. Apply bug spray! We all got bitten by something we didn't see or feel.
We loved the place quite nice and lots of nature.
Very authentic, not in a good way. I was informed about the driver and guide by WhatsApp. The guy who picked me up had a different name, he came in a cab. He gave me two sentences in broken English, asked me about where I want to go first. That got me by surprise. I was the only customer, sitting in the back. We left, the guide and the driver talked continuously to each other in Spanish (my Spanish is good enough to understand it was about the last women they met and how much they had costed). All my alarm bells rang, and I insisted to be dropped off immediately. Three stars for this all clichee Colombian experience in the back of a Cali Cab.

Our tours are intentionally flexible and personalized, which is why the guide asked whether you preferred to visit the public park first or go directly to the waterfall — this was meant to tailor the experience to your interests, not to create uncertainty. Before the tour, I also explained via WhatsApp that the guide joining you was new and practicing his English. Supporting friendly local guides who are developing their language skills is an important part of what we do. In Colombia, speaking any level of English already represents a significant effort, and we choose to invest in local talent rather than scripted performances. I must also say that describing this as a “clichée Colombian experience in the back of a car” is disappointing and does not reflect the reality of our work, our values, or the many positive reviews from guests who have trusted and enjoyed our tours. Juan was a wonderful guide on the Cali waterfall tour. It was beautiful and personalized. He knows a lot about the history and culture and we had some local snacks too. Great experience!
