Itinéraire
Centre d'accueil des visiteurs à travers l'histoire de la fabrication de l'étain de Royal Selangor. Promenez-vous dans les expositions du musée et assistez à une démonstration en direct sur l'artisanat de l'étain. Regardez comment l'artisanat de l'étain se fait en temps réel, du moulage, du polissage à l'assemblage. Prenez une photo avec la plus grande chope en étain du monde. Un point de repère emblématique du centre d'accueil. Une interprétation unique des tours jumelles Petrons composées de plus de 7 000 citernes.
Les grottes de Batu sont une colline calcaire qui possède une série de grottes et de temples rupestres à Gombak, Selangor. Le calcaire formant les grottes de Batu aurait environ 400 millions d'années. Certaines des entrées des grottes ont été utilisées comme abris par le peuple indigène Temuan (une tribu d'Orang Asli). La grotte est l'un des sanctuaires hindous les plus populaires en dehors de l'Inde et est dédiée à Lord Murugan. C'est le point focal du festival hindou de Thaipusam en Malaisie. Les grottes de Batu, en bref, sont également appelées 10e grottes ou colline pour Lord Muruga, car il existe six sanctuaires sacrés importants en Inde et quatre autres en Malaisie. Les trois autres en Malaisie sont le temple Kallumalai à Ipoh, le temple Tanneermalai à Penang et le temple Sannasimalai à Malacca. Remarque : gardez les yeux ouverts pour être au courant des singes. Ne les nourrissez pas ! Tenez les appareils photo près de vous et utilisez un tour de cou si vous en avez un. Veuillez ne pas transporter de sacs en plastique, les singes seront agressifs à ce sujet.
Le batik malaisien est l'art textile batik de la Malaisie, en particulier sur la côte est de la Malaisie. Les motifs les plus populaires sont les feuilles et les fleurs. Nous vous amènerons à Batik Chong pour une visite guidée sur la fabrication du Batik. Profitez de cette occasion pour rapporter un morceau de batik fait main de Malaisie en souvenir. Remarque : Selon les conditions de circulation de la journée, le conducteur prévoira de visiter quel magasin d'usine de batik. (Chong Batik ou Jadi Batek) Une seule visite de lieu.
Votre prochain arrêt est la source chaude de Selayang, où vous pourrez tremper vos pieds fatigués dans les eaux minérales curatives. Selon les habitants, cet endroit existe depuis quatre décennies et est un endroit populaire parmi les habitants. Ils croyaient que cette eau de source était capable de les guérir des maladies de peau et autres maux. Il n'est donc pas surprenant que vous voyiez de nombreuses personnes âgées et jeunes venir ici pour prendre un bain, surtout le week-end.
Le district de Gombak est un district administratif situé dans l'État de Selangor. Avant 1974, Gombak était une ville avant de devenir un district. Gombak abritait les colonies des premiers immigrants Minangkabau dans les années 1800 et a été établi peu de temps après. Les anciennes mosquées de la région de Gombak telles que Masjid Lama Batu 6 Gombak sont toujours debout à ce jour.
Continuez ensuite vers les chutes de Kanching pour admirer l'impressionnante cascade à sept niveaux. Vous décidez combien de temps vous souhaitez vous attarder à l'ombre, grimper sur les rochers ou prendre un bain rafraîchissant. Pendant l'heure du déjeuner, nous vous apporterons un déjeuner local ou des aliments emballés.
Le trajet jusqu'à Templer Park prendra environ 30 minutes et le retour 30 à 45 minutes.

Great service, very friendly driver. Ontime, goid communication and respectful. Unfortunately the springs are being renovated, but the guide added another half hour in to the caves. Waterfall- 1 hours 30 minutes Batu caves - 1 hour 30mins, Batik - 30 minutes Lunch - 1 hour Pewter factory- 1 hour Travelling time 1 hour. You need walking shoes for the waterfall, steps lead up to 4th level, then difficult ttrack. Wont get much higher in the tine, so stay there. Also arrive in swimwear if you intend to swim.

Tour was nice except for pulling up to the hot springs (which we were REALLY looking forward to) and seeing that it was shut down. Was informed by viator that there would be NO consideration for partial refund for not being able to experience that portion of our trip. Very disappointed in that, so buyer beware. Other than that, trip was nice.

There were elements about this tour that were very good and some not. First of all we were told on booking that we would need to go to a meeting point but infact our driver picked us up outside our hotel (he was early and we were in the process of getting a taxi). Our driver was helpful and polite. We were only ones in the car. The first stop was a natural hotspring which was very interesting and very laid back with mostly locals enjoying the water and doing their washing. The visit felt about the right amount of time. The waterfalls were also lovely and well worth the walk to them, but as our stay was only about 30 mins we didn't bother going into the water only for it to be a short time and then have to get dried and dressed again. Perhaps if it was later in the day we would have been hotter and felt more like a dip! The Batu Caves part of the visit was a big disappointment as the stop was only for 20 minutes. This meant you only had time to look at the outside with no time to go in if you wished. We felt a bit cheated that we weren't able to walk up the steps or go in. We did however enjoy interacting with the monkeys wandering around and feeding them our peanuts which they finished off for us. We then had quite a long stay at pewter factory which whilst interesting wasn't what we signed up for. I felt this was an opportunity for you to be sold something and would much rather have spent more time at Batu caves. The lunch was at a small local cafe which didn't impress much on the way in but the food was served on banana leaves, felt very authentic and was delicious, so we left impressed. So all in all not a bad day but there were some disappointments.

The tour guide was very good and drove us around safely and was helpful when asked to stop to access a shop. The lunch was in a cafe type establishment but the food was excellent and served very authentically. My only complaint is that we were most interested in the Batu caves but the stop is very short (20 minutes) and meant we had no opportunity to enter any of the caves or climb up to the highest one and at least take in the view. We would like this stop to have been at least 1 hour and we would happily have foregone the pewter factory and Batic stops although they were interesting. Also the waterfall stop was 30 mins which put us off taking a swim as the time it would take to get dry afterwards wasn’t worth it for the time you would get to swim. We had a driver to ourselves which was nice but didn’t feel able to negotiate times of stops as there was a set schedule .

The driver Hari was very helpful and very nice. The tour required physical stamina with lots of steps to the waterfalls so would be best to state that in the advert.

Great day trip! Was only in KL for a few days but this tour was great way to see the rainforest, waterfalls and Batu Caves. Got plenty of time at each spot, small tour and comfy bus. Great value for money, as included entrance fees everywhere and a nice lunch.
