We recently took a tour of the JFK assassination site in Dallas, and I wanted to share what a fantastic experience it was. Our guide, Dan, was absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a deep dive into history without having to spend weeks reading through dozens of books, Dan is your person. He has done all the heavy lifting and research, presenting the information in such an engaging, expert way that we felt like we were reliving the journey ourselves. What truly set this tour apart was the depth of the narrative. Dan didn't just cover the events of the day; he provided crucial context regarding the political climate of the era, the Bay of Pigs, and the Cuban Missile Crisis. He also went above and beyond by driving us the entire route Lee Harvey Oswald took after leaving the Book Depository—tracing his path home, the encounter with Officer J.D. Tippit, his movements through the Texas Theatre area, and his eventual arrest. Dan was a master storyteller and a true historian. He was patient, answered all of our questions, and provided a comprehensive experience that was well worth every penny. We booked this through Viator and couldn't be happier with the choice. If you are visiting Dallas and want to truly understand this pivotal moment in American history, I highly recommend booking a tour with Dan. Further, the van was new, clean and comfortably cooled.
No bathroom breaks , only thing but very informative . Very surreal of an experience . Mr Preston was very knowledgeable and very friendly .
We enjoyed our tour with Tim. He was very knowledgeable and kind. I would recommend this JFK tour with Tim.
Very interesting and educational, a lot of history, the guide was very nice and explained everything and gave his opinions about it.
Very informative. You will learn a lot of information and angles that you have never heard of and Isaac is the best tour guide. We felt lucky to have him and to select this tour.
Interesting but disorganised. At the beginning it was a mess with no one having a clue what bus we were meant to be on. Overall, the guide was good - not excellent. I followed him but quite a few people seemed to have lost interest. I liked going to the key places
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed visiting the key historical sites and found the tour guide informative overall. We sincerely apologize for the confusion during the check-in process. During the FIFA World Cup, we experienced an exceptionally high volume of visitors from around the world, which created a busier-than-usual departure area. Even with the increased volume, our team made sure a guide reached out prior to the tour to check in and provide the specific vehicle details, including the vehicle description and license plate, for guests’ convenience and to make locating the guide easier. We also appreciate your comments regarding the guide's presentation. Every guest has a different learning style, and feedback like yours helps us continue improving the experience we provide. Thank you again for your review, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back on another tour in the future.
