Absolutely dreadful. Please use another tour operator. For an English speaking tour we were given a guide who we couldn’t even understand. To make matters more difficult she had such a strong Chinese accent that we really struggled to understand what she was saying. Operator refunded €60 of £350 paid and made a number of excuses. Please save yourself the anguish and book elsewhere. These guys are scam artists.
As a travel advisor who has worked with hundreds of companies, I would never recommend this company to anyone, unless you want to be taken advantage of and overcharged. The company is unorganized, unprofessional, and will perform the classic "Bait and Switch" at the final hour. It is not like me to write reviews as an agent, but their lack of professionalism is beyond industry standards. Beware!!! I booked and paid for a non-refundable private tour, for clients, 8 months in advance. No changes were allowed to this tour, as stated on the booking terms. On the day of their tour however, also the last day clients were in Rome, this company let our mutual clients know they now longer offer private tours at the rate they had secured it for, and instead they could offer them a group tour with 15 other people or cancel. They would refund them a total of $40 if they wanted the group tour. Keep in mind, I could have book this same experience of a shared tour for $150 less if I had the advanced notice. If private tours were only $40 more, everyone would take a private tour over a group tour. They had 8 months to make me aware they could not offer a private tour, yet left our clients with little options to visit the Vatican unless they accepted their offer.
Fantastic tour with Tonia. Very knowledgeable and fun! It was great to go with the smaller group as we were much more efficient than the larger ones in getting to many of the places in the Vatican which meant we got to see and experience more. Highly recommended.
Alessandra was the most memorable part of the tour. She was entertaining, knowledgeable and efficient. I am with in Italy with my daughter a.d granddaughter and, so far, the Vatican tour had been the highlight!
Although the Vatican is a must at some point, pick that time with utmost caution. I value a private guide especially when traveling with the children, but when there are more people hoarding by you than on a busy morning at Mumbai's Churchgate Station, it really defeats the purpose and diminishes the experience. Try if you can to secure a more quiet experience.
Our tour of the Vatican was excellent! Our guide, Daniella, was very knowledgeable—and very funny! We would highly recommend this tour.
We had a wonderful time with our family. Irene Amedeo was our guide. She was very informative and entertained us all during the tour. There is so much to see and she helped us appreciate things much more than if we would have gone through on our own.
