Description

Mo, the tour guide, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, showing us an interesting variety of back-street food places. Highlight was the market, Mo explained everything. We finished with Bia Hoi by the river. Excellent! Tip: worth checking bicycle brakes - ours needed adjusting (easy to do), and bring hand gel.
Xin chàoooooo David, Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m thrilled you enjoyed the market tour and our sunset Bia Hoi by the river—it really is the best way to soak in the Dong Hoi atmosphere. I also truly appreciate the practical tips. I've already shared the feedback with our maintenance team to ensure all bicycle brakes are double-checked and tightened before every ride. We are also adding hand sanitizer to our standard tour kit immediately. Thank you for helping us make the 'local experience' even better for future travelers! All the best, Endless Vietnam team
Mo took care of us from the beginning, from meeting up with drinks and delaying the start to reduce the heat from customising our stops for our preferences as well as being very enthusiastic easy going and a very caring guide. She spoke very good English, so communication was effortless, and we even taught each other a couple of words. Understanding and confidence of Vietnamese traffic is needed, but for us, this wasn't a problem, and traffic doesn't go that fast. Bicycles were basic but functional, and the basket on the front was useful. We made a trip to the market, made tapioca steamed dumplings as well as other places where we saw them making different dishes and local restaurants/areas of interest. Mo also has worked for oxalis, (a local caving jungle tour guide) and as we were going on one of their trips she was able to offer us some insite and advice allong with helping us with our general plans in Vietnam while we were chatting eating etc. Thanks again so much. we had a great time!
Xin chào Tim, Thank you for such a thoughtful message! I truly enjoyed our time together—especially our deep dive into the market and making those tapioca dumplings. You handled the Dong Hoi traffic like a local :D! Having worked at Oxalis for several years, I always love sharing those extra 'pro-tips' to make sure my guests get the most out of their jungle treks. It’s exactly why I started Endless Vietnam—to bridge that gap between great tours and local life. Thank you so much for being such wonderful guests and for the language exchange. Enjoy your Vietnam! Mo & Endless Vietnam team.

The bike ride around Dong Hoi and learning about the history of Vietnam and Mo’s hometown was amazing! The cycling around the peaceful city of Dong Hoi was awesome. We got to see the a few monuments and Mo introduced us to a couple of locals that she translated their history. She speaks perfect English and was more than happy to answer all our buzzing questions about the history of the city and of Vietnam. She is highly knowledgeable and proud of her hometown that makes me want to visit again! The bike ride around the city was only slightly difficult but Mo kept her eye on us to make sure we were safe. Be sure to try this tour on an empty stomach, Mo will feed you PLENTY! Thank you Mo!

This was an absolutely fantastic day out. We got to try loads of different foods and were able to see so much more on bikes than if we’d been on foot. The whole activity from start to finish was fabulous.

Mo has planned this tour to show you her home town, her favorite places and introduce you to the unique local food. She is informative and exuberant and makes sure you enjoy yourself. The trip to her friend’s fisherman hut was a highlight as we shared snails, clams, and beers with the fishermen along the river. Mo owns her company. She has worked in travel for many years and can recommend other things to do in Central Vietnam. If you find yourself in Dong Hoi, this a great use of your time.
Xin chào Andrea, Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback for the Dong Hoi Sightseeing & Streetfood tour. Thanks for recognizing my passion and expertise—I am always ready with more local secrets for your next Central Vietnam adventure! Hope to see you back for round two! Endless Vietnam team, Mo
What a wonderful tour that Mo provided us. The cycling was lovely. The food was extraordinary good. She knows her stuff and was a great guide giving us an insight into the region and Dong Hoi itself. Different restaurants, market visits and ride around the citadel. Cannot recommend more highly. Do yourself a turn and do this if you have the time!
Helloooooo Robert, Your review just made our day brighter than a sunny ride through Dong Hoi! 🚴♀️☀️ We're thrilled that you enjoyed the cycling, the food (because let’s be honest, good food = good mood!), and the local insights. Thanks a million for the glowing recommendation – hope to see you back for another adventure (or at least another delicious meal) soon! 🍜💛 Endless Vietnam team, Mo
We did the bike tour with three friends all over sixty and found it easy and accessible . The bikes were simple but functioned well. Mo is a very nice person who shared her knowledge with great enthusiasm. She showed us the production of Tet cakes and other specialties in authentic places in homes of inhabitants and took us around the market where she informed us about fruit, flowers, vegetables and fish, specific for the region with good knowledge and interaction with the local sellers and farmers. We had en very nice day full of little surprises, color and tasting Maryse Belgium

We really enjoyed our afternoon cycling with Mo. We cycled around the town and sampled various Vietnamese specialties. She showed us how the special Tet cakes are made in the house of a local inhabitant. We went round the very interesting flower and food market and ended the afternoon with a nice hot drink. Mo is a lovely and lively guide with excellent English. Highly recommended!
