Description
La visite est différente chaque jour, nous visitons des activités de la vie réelle dans différents endroits de la ville en faisant du tourisme communautaire, des lieux authentiques qui montrent les différentes formes de la forte culture de la salsa à Cali. La visite soutient les gens qui travaillent dans l'industrie de la salsa, en faisant de la musique, des instruments, des costumes, des chaussures, des cours de danse, des spectacles, des événements, du tourisme, des concerts - en maintenant la culture vivante avec Collections de LP, photographie, livres et bien plus encore. Il y a tellement de choses à raconter et à montrer comment se vit la salsa dans la capitale de la salsa et nous sommes impatients de tout vous montrer, bien que tout ne tienne pas en une seule tournée ! :)

Itinéraire
Chaque jour est différent, certains jours nous visiterons ce musée dans le quartier d'Obrero pour en savoir plus sur les 50 ans d'histoire de la salsa à Cali. Non inclus dans les visites du dimanche ou des jours fériés.
Chaque jour, nous visitons différents lieux culturels de salsa de l'après-midi.
Une visite au petit kiosque-bar d'un coleccioniste de vinyles de salsa, ami d'Hector Lavoe, pour écouter de la musique ancienne sur des platines et pratiquer des pas de danse ou des instruments. C'est comme entrer dans une machine à remonter le temps mais c'est un vrai bar qu'il anime depuis des décennies.
Inclus du lundi au mercredi, bar de salsa populaire avec des cours de salsa de style californien, restez ensuite pour la fête.
Événement de rue. Du jeudi au samedi.

We were a group of three men, two of us complete beginners, and we had an excellent experience with Daniel. We started by visiting the Salsa Museum, where Daniel translated every part clearly and thoroughly. His English is very strong, and his explanations were not only informative but full of context and passion. You can tell he truly loves salsa not just the dance, but its history and cultural significance. Daniel is also an excellent dancer and a great teacher. After the Salsa class officially ended, he took extra time to help the beginners review and reinforce the steps, making sure no one felt rushed or left behind. Beyond salsa, Daniel is very well-cultured and easy to talk to, able to hold conversations on many topics. He’s friendly, approachable, and genuinely generous with his time. As a gay man, I especially appreciated how inclusive and respectful he was. I asked him to partner dance with me as a lead after class, and he didn’t hesitate at all. He made me feel completely comfortable and affirmed that dance is dance. That sense of acceptance made the experience even more meaningful. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cali—whether you’re a beginner or already love salsa, Daniel creates a thoughtful, inclusive, and memorable experience.

The tour was great ,a lot of information regarding Cali and the SALSA itself. we enjoy it even we had to wait a lot for entering the salsa museum in CALI

During December and January the museum gets quite busy yes, but we have a 6 years long history taking people there as the first and longest running tours to Obrero, so our tours get a vip entry in case there is a long line, so I'm not sure which tour you are talking about but I'm sorry you felt there was a long wait. The tour was lovely! Informative, interactive and fun. Susana is very passionate about salsa and also supporting the local communities, which is very commendable. I really enjoyed visiting Museo de la Salsa in barrio Obrero, a trip back in time playing the vinyls, playing musical instruments and sampling some authentic viche. the tour ended at La Topa, for more dancing and fab vibes. Had some challenges with the hail storm and brownout at the museum but Susanna more than made up for it by ramping up the experience!
